Thanks for the review. I really like this case design. I’m interested in the 39 but last I knew, it still came with a cheaper stamped clasp. I had emailed the company several months ago to see if they had any plans to update the clasp. They said there were no immediate plans to update the 39 clasp.

The clasp actually helps keep the watch lighter. With this, you have a dive capable watch weighing around 125g. That plus the case quality and design are what is cool here. Remember, Rolex's used to use stamped clasps too -- when they actually were used by real divers/explorers. Also, you can always replace it if it is a big deal.

Good review. Do you know when they switched to a milled clasp? Some earlier reviews indicate it was stamped.

I just reached out to Archimede, and they tell me the bigger 41mm has a milled clasp, but the bracelet for the original 39mm version retains a stamped clasp. That's in case anyone is wondering.

I have one of the original 39mm Archimede Outdoors, and absolutely love it. It's my everyday wearer. They recently introduced a titanium version, and I would buy one in a second, except that the size is increased to 41mm; too big for the purpose of this watch. Bad design decision for Archimede, and no sale for me. It's a watch that should disappear on your wrist, not a fashion watch. (Incidentally, I have an 8 inch wrist, so it's not about the watch being too big for me. It's about the watch being too big for its purpose.)

To be fair to Archimede, I think the original watches were all at 41mm and it's the 39mm that is the new l offering, and therefore a smaller line. Given the desire for smaller watches in the market it wouldn't surprise me if they expanded this line, if it sells well. Hope you love your watch, as I'm thinking about buying the 39mm as well.

I had white version on my list for quite some time but it uses modified straps,not straight 20mm.Thats the problem I see with this watch,since I dont like oyster bracelets and big divers clasps.And Youre limited to the straps bought only from them😏

I have the white dial orange second hand. I don’t wear bracelets and wear this on the rubber strap. They offer a quality leather strap in both black and brown plus a canvas one. Plenty of good looking choices.
