One of the best I watched in the recent times and covers a whole spectrum of building large scale systems. It's hard to cover so many topics in half hour but this gentleman did an amazing job doing just that. Kudo's my friend!

Agree. This proves his real time experience. I have seen others talking a lot, but just theoretically.

I rarely comment on videos though i spend whole day watching technology videos. Don't know what prompted me to write just one word "Awesome". Thx for this video. A must watch for every Architect.

Now that it has been two years, how do you feel about this comment? There were quite a lot of words in the comment, but you stated you didn't know what prompted you to comment one word... Seems odd. I expected to see another comment from you but I couldn't find one that only said "Awesome" Were you smoking a little weed that day? Lol

A lot of common words from the first grade of programming. Software architecture is about really implemented systems, not about theory. It would be nice if he could present the speech based on real systems, developed by him with the architectural decisions, ideas, etc. Otherwise, this is just an exam speech from a student. Please, set, you got your B.

Great presentation here...Can you define "DOMAIN"? I see you repeated throughout the presentation but I wonder what is that?
@saisaske13 жыл бұрын
Domain can be area of focus, e-commerce can be domain, banking is a domain. There will be domain experts who will help us to understand domain through bounded context etc, mainly done in DDD. (domain driven design)

"... and stuff like that..." becomes pretty distracting from the actual information pretty quickly. I did appreciate the actual information for sure. It would just be absorbed much more easily if one did not start waiting for the next "and stuff like that" coming likely in the next 5 seconds again... WIthoud it the presentation would have been much clearer. And I mean this in a constructive feedback way.
