Really liked this one. Having lived in Fishers corn field from 1986-93 we often went to Carmel to shop. I remember this area being a large wasteland of badly executed shopping centers and gas stations. One of my close contractor friends John Gaylor told me to come to Carmel in 2020 and I was shocked at how nice it was. It is easy to do urban renewal in an affluent setting however, people are willing to live there. There is still the problem that this is an automobile dominated development as there is no public transit to say. Good Job!

Glad you liked it. I like mixing up the subjects of the videos to keep it fresh. I am not wholly against car culture or the traditional suburbs. I think the car freedom brought much more freedom to the poor and the middleclass in all sorts of ways. But I also believe in choice, and you can choose to live in the center and walk more and drive less or you can choose not to. Me, I like that I can split logs in the morning in my yard and be in NYC in the evening, by rail or car. I pay for that privilege. But I think it is all good.
