I visited auschwitz shortly after the Berlin Wall came down. It was part of a visit of the former East. Europe. A Dutch member of the tour said that his father as a dentist prisoner had the job of taking the gold teeth out of and searching the dead bodies for hidden gold and jewellery. He apparently spent the rest of his life waking up crying about it every night, and could not hear the word Auschwitz without breaking down completely years later.

To think this happened.....and no one did anything to stop it. "I was only following orders." Everyone and anyone who ever uttered those words needs answer to God.
