The Villa Empain in Bruxelles is one of the most decadent and outstanding Mansion on this Planet. It is pure luxury and excessive decadence - at the same time tasteful.

I would say that the house itself is very ugly; it is the embodiment of pride, greedyness and a fantastical view of the world about prestige. However, since this was the goal of the villa, the architect nailed in evey aspect of it, truly making a masterpiece; in any corner the message that the owner wished to have, was built flawlessly.
