How do you get it to rise up in the Z plane just by pressing G? Mine keeps moving the whole thing in its plane. The selected faces don't move individually

You can set that from the Pivot ( Left to the snap magnet) and just put that on individual.

Can you make more of these organic -flowy models like Zaha Hadid ones please? There are lots of tutorials on KZbin but all of them made by 3dsMax, is it possible to achieve such projects like that on Blender?
