That's what I liked about the bad company series even the multiplayer had some form of backstory on the console version not sure about the pc version on the map descriptions you could see some backstory about the map and why the US and Russians are there you don't see this in any battlefield game after BC2 maybe battlefield 1 to some extent but I doubt BF1's multiplayer is an extension of the single player

Multiplayer was awesome too. The destructibility of the maps was incredible. Even the most recent battlefield games don't do that. It made the game so much fun to play. But it also had so many practical results that made every multiplayer game different since the landscape was constantly changing.

Indeed, I would love to see a new installment for the series. Maybe base multiplayer of the entirety of bad company instead? I mean, our team is pretty much S.O.F. by that point. Maybe give us a new set of dipshits to follow and have them eventually meet up with Bravo Team. This would provide one nice, final send off, for the classic team while allowing them to _truly_ explore new teams. Tie it all together but don't ditch the humor.

We probably wont get BC3 for a long time bro. DICE has basically sold out and betrayed the BF community IMO by making BF1, accommodating to the COD kids by implementing casual features like the behemoths, elite classes and the bayonet charge. Then 3/2 years we will probably get a hardline 2, then another 2/3 and 1944 (which I would fucking love IMO, but I'd have BC3 before), then probably 2143 (again something I would love, but only after BC3), then after that BC3. Fucking max 9 years down the road, aka 17 years since BC2 came out and im almost certain it will be a fucking mutated COD piece of shit (note the CODs I refer to are MW3, BO2, Ghosts and AW) that wont even resemble the masterpiece that is the BC series

TheGageinator I preferred the more complex system because it ultimately widens the skillgap and makes the game so much more satisfying and rewarding if you put the time in to learn the game. BF1 doesnt have that same feeling of satisfaction because there is no bullet drop, there is zero recoil, elite classes provide cheap kills and there are no helos. I personally feel BF1 is IMO the most fustrating BF experience, BY FAR preceding the BF4 launch because there is no skillgap to help define the weak from the strong. All I want is another BC or 1943 style BF game with BF3 graphics, then I swear my life will be complete. Since we already have COD4 remaster coming soon. I mean I'd appreciate an infamous 1 remaster, but I'll take what I've been given

Ugh if they made bad company 3 with the same terrain and gun sound mechanics as BC1. While also boosting graphics and giving the player the feeling they are actually in a war zone not a wrestling cage like all the present day Call Of Dudy's. That would be AMAZING! I don't want Battlefield 5, I want a game that I spent hours playing. The game that got me into first person shooters. They don't need to overdue just do what they have always done in the past. Make a war zone not a gunfight in a building. Open ground with hills to hide behind lots of environmental feature so we can camouflage. Good and realistic vehicles would be amazing as well. But most importantly give us back Marlo, Redford, Sweetwater and hagred (sorry if I spelt there names wrong I'm in a passionate state of mind.) If they don't know what the people want for BFBC3 than show them this if you agree!

The only games known to be in the same universe as each other are BF2, BF3, BF4 & BF 2142. If all the games ARE in the same universe, then the first half of Battlefield: Hardline would take place in 2012 between BC2 and BF3 before shifting to 2015. But again, only DICE know for sure.

They were told they had to get there on foot. Haggard got hungry so they had to stop for tacos on the way. Marlo then remembered he forgot his passport back on the Texas road after the Canadians said they can’t get through without it.. After they picked up his pasport, Sweetwater then insisted they go check out the Niagara Falls before stopping at Alaska. After that Haggard lost track on their location on the map. Only time will tell how long it will take them to arrive. Edit: I saw them traveling through New York city the other day so they’re still moving. Looks like they may have backtracked a bit to find out their location.

This was my the first FPS game I ever played Then I got mw2 then getting cod 4 2011 I got BF3 and Cod mw3 for Christmas I loved BF3 more than cod mw3 Just last year I played a shit ton of mw3 I got bf4 and cod ghosts on 2013 I have played more cod games than the battlefield games but I love both FPS

Bad Company 1 had a better ending. It wasn't all serious and Call of Duty-ish. It was light hearted and silly.

It kinda left it on a plot hole though. They ditched the army with the gold, but that just leaves questions like 'how did they get back into the army' or 'where did the gold go?'

+Mahbu This ending right here was light hearted and silly. xD The BF3 ending is depressing and kinda bad in my opinion. BF4 actually seems to have 3 endings.. I got the one where the USS Valkyrie gets destroyed. Originally wanted to kill the chinese girl but I kinda couldn't.. didn't like the story, though. Way too bad.
