Could you explain what's happening at 2:07? I have no idea how you got a harmonic slide that loud and clean on a fretted bass, and the direction you moved in doesn't make sense either

Sure!! First of all, you probably have Seen that both the lateral camera angles have a bit of delay (It came out post editing, couldn't fix It), so the movements come a bit later than the music! This Is why you can't match the slide and the sound perfectly! Talking about the playing: i simply play an artificial Harmonic and then slide down half a tone! The sound Is enhanced by a good dose of treble and a little bit of chorus from the pedalboard! Hope this helped!🙏🏼

@ibanezbtb07ltd Ciao, grazie mille!! Certo, molto volentieri! Allora, partiamo dal presupposto che l'accordatura è standard, fatta eccezione per la sesta corda che è scordata in la. Considerato questo, la parte degli armonici è in re minore. Si inizia con un armonico naturale sul 7° tasto della corda "sol", che corrisponde al re. Dopodiché si suona un armonico artificiale sempre sullo stesso tasto, che deve produrre la relativa quinta giusta (la), e personalmente lo faccio tenendo l'indice della mando dx quasi all'inizio della tastiera e facendo risuonare l'armonico con l'anulare della stessa mano. Dopodiché, si risuona il primo armonico naturale sullo stesso tasto, quindi gli armonici sono re (NH), la (AH), re (NH) sempre sul settimo tasto della corda del sol. L'unica variante è alla fine del primo giro, in cui chiudo con l'armonico artificiale sull'ottavo tasto del sol (si b) e lo sostengo facendo uno sliding di un semitono sul la (6° m-->5° giusta). Non è difficile, bisogna solo coordinarsi con le dita! 😁 Spero di esserti stato d'aiuto, se dovesse essere troppo confusionario fammelo sapere!
