Well, the one in the Leoten Semper story was compared to an Imperial mainline cruiser, so, this one was pretty much a full fledged strike cruiser. Also given Darktide is about rejects, how would Arbites fit in? as a example of other frequently requested class, Commissars as a new Darktide class, it would make sense if it was a case of low ranker that did something they shouldn't have instead of a Lord Commissar rank.
@013wolfwarrior Жыл бұрын
@@drivanradosivic1357 well the starting classes are rejects doesent mean all of the other have to be either, a commisar or Arbiter going on a mission might aswell be looked at as a overseeing job.

You know I am having a hard time deciding if GW should have Guilliman fix the imperiums book of laws by taking out laws that were no longer in place. Because it would be a logical decision in universe (Guilliman wrote the codex Astartes I think he could write an imperial law book, and Napoleon himself fixed the confusing French laws into one napoleonic code). Admittedly don’t know if that would ruin the Arbites

Its not that easy Roboute has an intellect that defies human comprehension but even if he could read 1 page per second he’d have to go througy literally trillions of pages of decreed after decrees and then make decisions for each individual ones Fixing the lex imperialis would take years that he has to spend on other projects And redoing it from scratch would also be similarily daunting because we’re talking about a set of law that apply to the entire imperium it can’t be half assed

alternative class path or actual new class? I was thinking more for an alt path. A Zealot alt class. But, disgraced Arbiter could be its own thing as well.
@drivanradosivic1357 Жыл бұрын
@@Cassandra112 Well, given how Arch pointed out in the video that there are several types of Arbiters, that could mean that it is better to have them as a new class type. Personally I think this, same for Commissars. make Commissars a new class instead of a alt class. as example, there are leaks that one of the alt classes would be a Squad leader for veteran, I think that this does not infringe on Commissair class.

I honestly don't think you put sufficient emphasis on their role as the Imperium's armed presence on a world. Abrites are expected to overthrow the planetary governor should he go bad or just be sufficienty bad at his job, or at least hold out and resist until reinforcements can get there to throw him out.

Can you imagine any of a few dozen worlds where you see no militarum, no sisters, no astartes, it's just a simple farm backworld that for thousands of years is just still an average earth world but you have a lead Sheriff and his deputies taking care of just local crime and crime lords, no chaos, no gene stealers, just the most boring planets in the universe. The slowest work day is a couple kids wrecking some large farm equipment or noise ordinance.

Arbites are really quite rare. In the Eisenhorn book Xenos there are only 2 Arbites on the entire planet you are first introduced to. Often they are seen in the writing trying to stop planetary uprisings (Vraks).
