#17 car, with a new scheme for the playoffs! A good start turned into a dominant stretch, starting the playoffs right! The strategy seemed to be to avoid that outside wall like the plague, and let nobody get under you, which was easier said than done. After the big wreck, we had a tough restart, getting dive-bombed by the #54, but made up the spots fairly quick before dropping back a bit more. Our day would have ended with two other playoff drivers if not for the #27 hitting the #22, allowing us just enough space to swerve over. Unfortunately, we had too much damage for a late-race charge. A 12th place finish is not bad at all, especially considering our lucky escape, but we had a race-winning car, if not a top-five-worthy one at least. All in all, still a good result that put us fifth on the leaderboard. Not bad at all! :)
