As much as i was dope to see Zappa have so much impact on the story beyond going "MAMAAA MAMAMAAAAHHH" like how he normally did in previous arcade modes.... This must've been a massive troll to Zappa players who saw their character in story mode but never got him in Xrd. Here's hoping hoping the long lost dreams of Zappa and Order Sol players come true in STRIVE🙏🏿

Well Zappa being unplayable is understandable since lore wise he sealed away his powers and made a bit of peace with the ghosts that use to make him the way he use to be. If anything this was the life he desired for so long and it was because he lost the abilities that made him a "playable character" why he can finally live it.

That's amazing, Zappa and Faust together! They're so wholesome ♡♡♡ And is that Robo-Ky? Special? I thought all Robo-Kys were just identical copies. Why would Zato get to that one like he was special? Is he the only survivor of Crow's experiments?

IIRC the Robo-Ky we see here is actually the prototype for all other Robo-Kys and the first unit to have a personality installed, which caused him to form his own ego. He’s also the only remaining model since the rest were destroyed or decommissioned. Crow is still hunting him down, though whether it’s to scrap him or to do something else entirely with him remains to be seen.

One being the Aria we saw in the trailer with a completely different and original playstyle. Then two being Happy Chaos who will play exactly like Jack-O did before with Strive's tweaks, of course.

@@MJSHappy Very conflicted feelings tbh. When I first saw Happy Chaos, I legit thought for the whole time until the name drop that he was supposed to be Bedman. What I had in mind was a lot different for the character. Either way, Aria is in the game. Happy Chaos still looks like a cool dude. I just hope the DLC to make them playable comes soon. 😂 What do you think of Happy Chaos?

No....this is the legit story of the Xrd series...Sign had Part 1 of the story and Revelator had Part 2 1st half while Rev 2 has the second half

These are just the story modes of the games Xrd Sign and Xrd Revelator, they take place in between 2:Overture and STRIVE

The others answer your explicit question, but to get to the heart of what you were asking, the story mode in these games are a series of cutscenes. There was no gameplay between them. Arcade mode was a prequel for each character.

Nobody really plays hardcore competitive fighting games on xbox plus xbox doesnt really handle a lot of these games well thus why most companies don't release for xbox anymore but if the series x/s proves different then you can definently expect future titles to see a release there

@@michealjames4351 that's a narrative that's as false as saying the sky is red. PlayStation is heavily preferred in Japan and the US so these developers bank on those markets alone. There is no competitive fighting scene on Xbox because it's been decided there won't be, not because there isn't. Many people like me who own an Xbox also own a PS4, but I don't want to play it there because of how often I use my Xbone over the other
