This is the best channel to follow if you have a cat sled! Answers all the questions I’ve had after buying a 16 m8000. Thanks from the Kootenay

My question was answered about air pressures. Thank you for the post! Be safe.

Hey guys, always great videos!! Just had one thing to add about setting the pressures that can make a big difference aswell is set them at ride temp not coming from a heated garage if that's where they are stored. Going from warm to cold with the air pressure can effect pressure up to 10 to 15 pounds on its own so set or check the pressure when sleds at outside temps!! :-) happy riding

My 2015 m8000 153 used to flip over anywhere high up and off camber and now has a front skid shock out of a old school zr550 found my 2015 front shock had exploded and it was a little difficult but bolted right together and gave me and elevate kit pretty much cheap way…

So if I wanted to do wheelies I would lift the skid to the higher hole which would take pressure off the front? I’m new to this 😹

Love you’re channel. 12 m800. My pull cord has about a foot of slack before the dogs catch. I’ve cleaned and inspected with same results. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance Kart from Kelowna

Just bought a 2013 M1100 Turbo 162", gonna start with 90 in front and 150 in the rear and see how it feels. When i got it and test rode it they frons had like 40 and it felt so weird, thought they were fucked.

I have the Evol air shocks and I'm not sure the Evol chamber actually does there at about 150 right now but says can go to 230! Just wondering if u could explain that that is so I can understand better to make adjustments
@syxxes4 жыл бұрын
The Evol chamber basically controls the bottom out on the shock. It's mostly a buffer toward the end-travel of the shock.

does anyone know the max air pressure for the front and rear shocks on an early release 2018 m8000 153
@shanemayers7773 жыл бұрын
It’s printed on the shocks. Front 150 max and the rear is 150 and 250 I think.

@paullussier93492 жыл бұрын
Why can't you just go over on the pressure to compensate for a small loss in disconnecting air chuck or pump? Should be able to get it pretty close.Even if you lose 5-10 pounds.Seems like splitting hairs? Yes/no?Would it not be better than having one shock 30lbs diff than the other while waiting on the special pump to be delivered?

I agree. He could have at least talked about how the pressure changes affect what the sled does in deep powder for example vs. bombing down a whooped up trail.
