I absolutely loved it, although, it would be probably a bit too quiet for me long term. You are very lucky to live in such a beautiful place on earth.

Norway is so wonderful. Been there twice in the last two years. Was just in Kristiansand. What a beautiful place. As for speed in Germany, I was driving my Euro delivery 2011 M3 on the autobahn at a comfortable 120mph and was completely dusted by a 5 series diesel wagon. It was glorious to just cruise at those speeds and know the other drivers were disciplined and respectful.

I do the opposite trip every year on our summer vacation. It's quite a nice drive, but germany is always a disappointment with traffic (and roadworks). Same for Belgium and Denmark. The best countries for maintaining a high average speed are France and Sweden, mostly cos there are fewer cars on the motorways. The Danes often do those border "chicanes" and stops incidentally.
@ahlsn73462 ай бұрын
Haha I agree. In Germany I often average below 100km/h despite pushing 160-180km/h in vacation traffic. Once I enter Denmark my average speed increases and in Sweden as well. In Sweden I can often average 125-130km/h (not legal, but below losing drivers licens margin).
@MDrives2 ай бұрын
I agree, autobahns are usually packed with cars. France is much nicer because French don’t like to pay for motorways and use local roads when they can.

This trip looks incredible. What kind of price is it to do a trip like this? Maybe if a save for a couple of year i could do this trip myself. 😅

To be honest, I still haven’t summarised everything but I will make a video on cost and route at the end of the series. Roughly, I think about £3k all in.

why you didnt use Ferry from Hull to rotterdam? 9pm departer 9am arrival next day .

@@serz1885 Even driving from Rotterdam to Hirtshals cannot be done in a day, so you need a stop somewhere in Europe.

@@serz1885 yes, but if the ferry into Rotterdam comes in at 9am and the ferry from Denmark leaves at 4pm, you can’t bend time to drive those 1000kms. It took us 6-7 hours just to drive from Hamburg to Hirtshals due to traffic, roadworks, accidents and breaks.
