You know what would be helpful? Having a strand that’s more orange and one that’s more yellow. Like the stages of bleached hair. So we can be like, “should I do another round of bleach”. And a light purple strand would be nice too! I love these videos though they are very helpful!

This was super helpful! I've been trying to figure out what blue to get and from what brand. I want to do 2-3 different diluted formulas for my hair and weaved highlights so there's thin strands of each color. And the more diluted formulas will make my hair look more shiny with more of the blonde coming through with the very light silvery blue/blonde strands

So....I just went through your channel and found out you do this with so many other Arctic Fox colors (I use them exclusively) and I could not be happier right now. Let me explain: Summer 2018 I dyed my hair green using Aquamarine (I naturally have brown hair, and I knew it would turn green after careful planning). It ended up staining pretty intensely, which is fine! I love the color it is. But, it makes it a little difficult to redye in different colors. I've never really experimented with other colors, because I'm an anxiety ridden pigeon and I'm afraid it will turn out terribly. But you swatch on green hair! I know it isn't exactly what is going to happen with my hair, obviously, but I've never been able to find a reference for any color on green hair! But now I have them! In short, thank you so so much for mostly ridding me of my hair dye anxiety by doing (very good!) swatch videos! Keep doing what you're doing, and I'm sorry for basically sending you a letter. 😅

Okay so I want to dye my hair a deep blue similar to Poseidon. My hair is a five or a six I'd say. It did not seem to show up on those that well but I'm wondering if in better lighting, or the sun it would show up?

This dye is pigmented but not quite as pigmented as their Aquamarine dye so the swatches look a little more cool toned vs being blue. You could maybe add some Purple Rain to a base of Aquamarine to get a cooler toned blue that is super pigmented!

My hair was an 11 when I applied Poseidon with no conditioner diluter. It came out more as a bright blue very similar to ion’s sky blue, not the darker blue depicted here or on the bottle :(

1/4th tsp of dye vs 1 tbsp diluter= 1/4th tsp of dye and 3 teaspoons of diluter. (1 tbsp=3teaspoons) so the ratio would be 1:12 dye to diluter

Because not everyone uses the dye directly out of the bottle. Some people like to see how a dye looks lightened too. I try to make these videos helpful for a variety of people and situations.

I don't want to bleach my hair, maybe just lighten it but still was scared that it wouldn't be enough to see the color.
