2:00 "You could see that we'd cried" i don't know why but just the fact Alex said "we'd cried" instead of "she cried" is the best part of this song. This whole album truly has my whole heart and i've never been so in love with an record before. I found Favourite Worst Nightmare 3 years ago, I only listened to one song off this album at the time "505" but i had that on repeat for MONTHS. I loved that song so much i bought the vinyl record of this album for that one song, I didn't listen to the whole album until i played it on my record player weeks later. Alex turner is a lyrical genius, this whole album is a master piece.

Here you go: [Verse 1] Well, the mourning was complete When there was tears on the steering wheel dripping on the seat Several hours or several weeks I'd have the cheek to say they're equally as bleak [Verse 2] It's the beginning of the end The car went up the hill and disappeared around the bend Ask anyone, they'll tell you that it's these times that it tends To start to break in half, to start to fall apart, hold on to your heart [Chorus] And do me a favour and break my nose Or do me a favour and tell me to go away Or do me a favour and stop asking questions [Verse 3] She walked away while her shoes were untied And the eyes were all red, you could see that we'd cried And I watched and I waited 'til she was inside Forcing a smile and waving goodbye Curiosity becomes a heavy load Too heavy to hold, too heavy to hold Curiosity becomes a heavy load Too heavy to hold, will force you to be cold [Chorus] Do me a favour and ask if you need some help She said, "Do me a favour and stop flattering yourself" And to tear apart the ties that bind Perhaps "Fuck off" might be too kind Perhaps "Fuck off" might be too kind :D

Every time I hear this song I cry. It chronicles my breakup perfectly. She broke up with me while I was driving her home and I forced a smile when she walked inside but I fell apart after that. It conjures up feelings of longing, nostalgia, sadness, anger, and hatred. I hate this song, but I love it so much.

Those times were so negative, I remembered being in the bus and hospital alone and listening to this song on repeat. Ik this song is about break up, but it can be interpreted many ways. It's been 3 years and my nose is doing completely great, I just want to tell them negative people to fuck off

She's so ¨Do me a favour,¨ and I'm so ¨Baby, I'm yours.¨ I hate this situation alike or more than she does it. :)

I really love to come here when depression takes control of me, like today, I just recently saw an ex that am still missing and I feel like crap.

JCRX an incessant repeating rhythm on the drums and bass that wants to go so somewhere, it keeps going up quickly in intensity but only repeat to its self; the melody and by extension yourself feel trapped. Kinda like the dry heaves before you hurl, a weird analogy I know analogy but I think it’s fitting. Hope this helps
