I’ve watched quite a few tutorials on this. Yours is the first I came across that says to buzz the left hand rather than play hand to hand note for note. Playing a buzz feels far more natural & satisfying. Nice not to be made to feel like a lazy drummer or a cheat. Come 11pm when everyone in the pub is p%ssed, nobody is gunna notice a buzz from a single stroke roll. Breath of fresh air, fella. It’s exactly how I’ve tried to play it by ear from the record. My band all of a sudden want this song in the set, hence why I’m looking tutorials. You’ve really helped me. Thank you. Your video has made a difference. Cheers. 👊

Hey, glad it helped. Makes no sense to me trying to bust out singles at that speed. So many drummers think you have to play exactly the same as the guy that did it not realising you can get the same results using multiple ways.
