It's true though. Everyone I've seen on sites like Tumblr who's met him recently said he's very polite and nice. I think he comes off as an "asshole" because he's a bit shy and doesn't want to put himself out there outside of the concert environment, but he's perfectly willing to take a photo with someone if they ask him.

He's not an arsehole at all, people from across the globe quite often just don't get his banter but it's a Yorkshire and English thing. He has a very dead pan sense of humor but you can tell he's genuinely quite humble.
