Arctic storm decimates Vendee Arctique fleet - Highlights 2022 race

The Vendee Arctique race features some of the fastest ocean going raceboats. In 2022 a giant storm forced the race to end early.

I'm sorry are they ocean sailors or buoy racers? Canceling the route because there's 40knts is rediculous.

One of the Frenchmen mentioned 52 knots sustained. These people don’t have a crew, they are managing a huge, exceptionally powerful boat all alone. I don’t believe there should be anyone calling the race, but the investments in to those boats are huge and they are fragile

On these boats you couldn’t t do more than 3 miles , by yourself... champ....!!!
