Good stuff. I actually prefer to hook my flaps up to a slider so that I can have an infinitely variable range of flap positions and I can also vary the rate at which I apply them. By doing this you can have a lot of fun that two-stage, fixed-position flaps don't allow.

Big improvements. Slower aproaches and beautiful scale landings. We did not make a follow up video. We moved so this little baby is back in the garage.

@@ArcticRc Good to hear, a nice future upgrade! Right not I'm just trying to learn, and choose this plane as a trainer. Maybe not the best first plane actually... but it's been a learning experience. I actually live in Norway too, moved here a couple years ago with my Norsk wife and love it. Unfortunately we don't have an RC air clubs around us, so I'm training myself. 1 flight = 1 repair at the moment. Been spending all my money at Elefun lately, and have watched lots of your videos, thanks for sharing!

@@GiantAntCowboy where in Norway do you live? There are many airfields around. If you add ArcticRc at facebook you can watch pictures and updates.

ArcticRc We live on a small fjord “Tresfjord” just south of Molde. We actually have plenty of airspace here, but I do see that learning from an experienced person would be very helpful, especially getting started. Years ago I learned to ride motorcycles from KZbin videos and became a passionate motorcyclist, so I’m sure I’ll figure this out too, eventually. :) My current planes are this 965mm Cessna 182 and a 1500mm DHC Turbo Beaver, which you’ve also had some videos of.
