Thank you very much for making this video!! I've tried multiple times over the years to make hats and I always failed. I'm now trying to make a matching scarf/hat set for my husband and I found a pattern I really like for the scarf but was stumped at the hat. Other two tone hats half the colors cut in half (half the hat color A and the other half color B) and that's really not my husband's style. Then I found this one!! It's super simple!! Thank you!!

So simple but so complex looking, beautiful, it almost looks like knit.

Love it Sarah…….I like the fold up brim…..and I like a tight stitch…..you used a “G”, so that’s pretty small….and I’m a tight crocheter so it might come out to my liking…….I need a new hat for this winter…….tks again for another nice project…….

Adorable hat and I like the double brim. I'm glad you gave the length and width as I find a great variable in yarn thicknesses given the same #'s, thank you.

Love, love this hat pattern. Works up easily and quickly. I have made several, but have ended them a little differently. By definition this is not a beanie! The last hat I made I went strictly by your instructions…same number of rows all the way to the top. Appears to be made for a cone head!!!! I’m going to frog the top part and do a cinched closing to make it fit more like a beanie should.

How did you cinch the top to avoid the cone shape?

Do you have a scarf pattern to match the hat

I love this and want to try it. I’ve made a few hard and the size is always too big, so I want to do the gauge check. But I’m not sure what stitch to do for the gauge, it says 19 stitches and 14 rows, is that for the stitches for the brim? Thank you!

If I want a brim but not that wide how many chains should I do

Nice hat. Did you leave yarn B hanging or hide it with yarn A, when transferring back?
