Good on your group for rejecting the cedh player. I had the same combo deck show up in a power level 6-8 room in cockatrice. Me and a spectator pointed out that he was playing a cedh combo in a mid power room. He proceeded to kick the spectator so I blocked him.

This deck is nasty. I played against a similar one last week and it turned into an arch enemy real quick. If I could make any recommendations it would be Godo, otherwise good stuff

I was gonna post with something like "Hurr durr, Rograkh is better with Ardenn," but Kediss does something that no other commander (save Saskia) has done: it gives aggro reach. Aggro is generally bad in EDH; Kediss shores things up a bit. Kediss also makes the deck a little less glass canon-y, too. I run Ardenn and Rograkh and I love it, but it struggles to wrap up the game against multiple opponents.

Yeah I think people were and still sleep on Kediss. I never made any of my creatures absolutely huge beaters here but if I’d had the +10/+10 hammer in play with the double stroking dwarf that would’ve been a hell of a lot of damage to each player.

Speaking of cedh do you plan on doing more cedh game play on the channel soon? Btw I'm sorry that lazav player was doing that in a non cedh game I mean sure I been guilty of this too but I at least let my opponents know what they're getting into before turn one starts

If people know ahead of time then it’s fine. But bringing a cEDH game to a table of non cEDH players isn’t something you do by accident. I do want to run that cEDH deck again. People just need to not expect air right gameplay because I’m not a cEDH player. Is it Obeka you were hoping to see?

I played a hell of a lot of it back in the day, it’s used to get free evasion on Lazav. Turn him into a flyer, swing in and then turn him into something else to one shot someone. The Diabolic Intent did get it in the bin though, which is where Lazav wants it.

That was a bitch move, to eject the player. Yes i understand that was stupid but then so was your start, you had control and only got mad because he outplayed you. This is why combos are necesary, sometimes andnlot of decks go ahead so fast you need a wincon other than attacking.

Name calling. Nice. Like I said in the video, that player won. So it makes no difference to him getting ejected because the game would’ve ended there anyway. Why can’t the three of us play for 2nd place? Comparing my very lucky start to actively using cEDH combos outside of cEDH is ridiculous. Combos are necessary to pull out a victory from the brink. What was really missing here was removal. If you want to go round dunking on people and playing cEDH decks against non cEDH players then go ahead. But I think you’ll find you’re in the minority of even the cEDH community there.

There’s a difference between slowly assembling the pieces for a combo and just pulling the trigger on turn three. I wouldn’t want Oracle combo in my playgroup either.

@@comradecameron3726 the old debate of combos, not combos this and that. I am all for everyone to play whatever they want, when you put restrictions it can be one sided. Example i dont like stax but i cant say people dont play it because i use combos, everyone have their strategy and shutting them down because someone doesnt like it sucks. For example in my playgroup this guy always cry about combos, ok fine but he use a Cedh stax deck that get omnicience on turn like 3-4 and starts to wipe lands, control everything (white/blue) so yea he cant cry about combos when he do it worse. So in the end is better IMO to everyone use whatever they want.

No one cried about combos though. You’re arguing for something that didn’t happen and you’re name calling in the process. I’ve used combos on this channel a million times. No one here’s against combos. We’re against people playing the most common and successful combo in the highest ranking version of the format. You play cEDH against other cEDH players, it’s as simple as that. And take some time to calm down before you post next time too. There’s a human being on the other side of that comment who’s content you’ve enjoyed for a long time and I’m sure you don’t want to make him feel like shit.
