Imo its cause of the chamber meta tho. Like with peak chamber you just hold an angle and try to pick one off at the start of most rounds and if you whiff, insta tp out. With jett, you actually have to move forward, be ready to improvise, ask for teammate util and seek frags/info that way (on defense). The reps on chamber made him lose that improvisation skill

tbh, the meta shift also affected. Yay was a one trick pony jett player, but jett got massively nerfed. he was a one trick pony chamber, but chamber got massively nerfed. We are seeing a time were the best jett players, are the ones who can play other agents and the gun itself does the job, not the character. Tenz moved to controller for the same reason. His playstyle works better for Omen, than for new era Duelist. Aspas was always different from Yay. Way more explosive, carefree. This is the difference. Duelists now NEED to be Explosive. The utility is the meta now, not the players. What makes or breaks a player is how good they know what their character do, their interactions, and how theycan exploit them. Lev used deadlock PERFECTLY on Ascent against G2 to cancel Kay/O ult. Everyone was perplexed. Both of them kinda ulted at the same time too, which for me feels like it was intentional. That's understanding your character, and knowing what it does. Most players don't know, however. Yay was one of them. The problem with One/Two trick ponies, is that agents fall off from the top. It is like calling Grubby to play neon for your team.

Chamber was def one of main reasons, you can’t deny that on top of it being broken at that time, certain agents just fit players playstyle and potential perfectly. This can be proven by looking at flex players and their stats with diff agents.

It's not the meta changes, nor the igl is more of his mental issues Yay has lost all of his confidents and trusts to his team and orgs after what happen at DSG and C9 I mean how would you feel after getting praise at one of the best player in the world just to get dropped from your org because of bad financial decisions and not getting a single win at tier 2 in which ppl expect him to "smurf" But honestly i believe he still has that El in him he just need his confident back and trust his teammates to cover his back more than in tier 2
