the only part which is a bit unclear is how the v1-v3/6 = v1-v3/6 + .... i cant seem to visualize how that works . if u did v1-v3/6 = v1/2 + v2/4 + v3/3 , i understand but why u + v1-v3/6 again?

Because it is the current not only goes in, but also goes out.
