Programmed an Arduino into a flap controller for my airplane. My actuator has a built in position sensor (potentiometer) and two motor wires that have to switch polarity to change direction. It works on this basic process:
When powered on it reads current flaps position.
Single click in any direction moves to next position is there is one available.
Double click or hold moves to full clean or full dirty flaps.
