Is your code public? How would I modify your code to make the motor turn clockwise by a certain amount and then turn counterclockwise by another certain amount, then stop and wait for the input from a momentary switch to trigger the sequence described above over and over only when the switch is pressed?

Love your work, is the Arduino code available?.

Can you give a reference to the Sketch. Did you use the Arduino sketch that was in the Winter 2013 Digital Machinist Magazine for your Inderer ?

I used rodw's code: www.homemodelenginemachinist.com/showthread.php?p=276382. There's a lot to be learned by following that thread, and the earlier one that it refers to. The later versions of his code get more sophisticated and complex. If I remember right, I used an earlier version and modified it to fit my needs a little more closely.

@@contraptionworks is his code available for download? Been looking for like 30 min. Seems all the old links to it are broken

Good Sir is your arduino stepper indexer work with fanuc controller?

Any chance you can put the link up for what hardware you are using and where the code can be obtained from? I have tried looking on your page but did not find it.

The reason for your device not working perfectly is AccelStepper library. It sure is extensive, but full of errors, stupid decisions, slow stuff and doesn't work as it should work. That's why I wrote my own based on the same background info but without those stupid mistakes that don't get fixed.

Could you please guide me where to get the Harmonic Drive 100/1 gear ration, that you used in this video?
@contraptionworks7 жыл бұрын
I purchased the Harmonic Drive on eBay. There's some more information in my responses to a couple other questions that followed yours.

wow this is a great alternative for the super expensive dividing heads !!! nice job. could you please include a list of the parts needed for this project. thanks ,cheers from Greece.

Information about the Arduino and code is included in the link that I included in response to MrBuzz151's question. The Harmonic Drive is model CSF-32-100. Mine had an output shaft that I removed to attach the collet chuck. The collet chuck is the 100 mm ER 40 chuck from Arc Euro Trade, and I had to make an adapter plate on my lathe to connect the chuck to the Harmonic Drive. My drive was able to bolt up directly to a NEMA 34 motor, but other ones may have different motor adapters. Any NEMA 34 motor would likely have plenty of power/torque, as would likely most NEMA 23 motors. I only used NEMA 34 because it fit physically. In the time since posting this, I've been working on some other equipment, and haven't yet tried actually using it in a machining operation, so I don't know how rigid it will be in use, but it seems pretty rigid and there's no backlash.

Hello. I am from Poland and I know English very poorly. I write with Google translator :) An interesting design. Would you give me the code and diagram? I want to build a similar project with the same keyboard and lcd. He must stop every few degrees. Is it possible to enter this value using the keypad? Can you change the speed with the keypad? can you trade the direction of rotation using a keypad? Thank you and I am waiting for the code and diagram
