HEY , how can we fly the drone in Ardupilot sitl gazebo harmonic world using a keybaord as joystick, i can fly using mavproxy but what if i want to fly through keyboard

Ardupilot allows the joystick setup, you might need to write a simple python script to map your keyboard buttons to joystick or RC values.

Hello, I am running a fresh installation of Ubuntu 18.04.6 on a VM. After the installation, I did not update anything and directly followed the official tutorial to install git, download the source code, etc. When I try to run SITL (../Tools/autotest/sim_vehicle.py --map --console), it always stops halfway and reports an error. I noticed that the Python version you are using in the video is 3.8.10, whereas the Python version I have after following the tutorial is 2.7.17. Did you install another version or configure something differently in between? Warning Message: Waf: The wscript in '/home/aben/ardupilot' is unreadable

It happened with me too; primarily i assumed the problem is with slow internet but many other https / udp protocol works fine namely git clone down load /upload etc. The problem i usually have is something like making wheel ..... and system hangs for ever and ever.
