Ardupilot - Specific Mode Switches (Quick Tip)

Going over two mode features with switches in Ardupilot / Arduplane: Mode Specific switches (assigning a single mode to a switch) and trigger re-reading of mode switch (in case you want to switch to the mode that your switch is currently on)
First is useful for a special emergency mode that you can set up for a vtol plane for example (switch to manual in case of vtol motor failure). Triggering rereadings is useful if the actual mode doesn't match the flight mode switch (maybe you changed the mode with mission planner) but you want to switch back to the current position.

Very informative. Will include this in all my new setups from now, and use it for temporary modes like auto tune. Easier to make ad hoc changes via a separate channel than having to reconfigure the whole two switch mode channel layout, voice prompts and all.

hey when the aircraft is in our hand and in takeoff mode, the motor runs. however, when switching to other modes, the motor stops. When we try to start directly in loiter mode or other modes, the motor doesn’t run at all. sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn’t. do you have any idea

Any help on having channel 5 and having 3 modes on one switch?
