These are all great! I couldn’t pick a favorite , but I agree that 3 butterfly masked panel you die cut the small butterflies out of looked really unique! I think you have to do a card with that idea! Beautiful cards Ardyth! I have a few to upload to IG. I’ve made a few. Only about 8 weeks left then outside yard work and bye by card room! Funny, I looked through just some of my dies today and found I have some butterfly dies! Detail and just shape! I know I have others that go with a stencil too but never used those either. I’m a dragonfly person. I also found those oinkfresh bird dies I had to have after you made such cute birds! I need to print out an idea sheet for those because my mind goes blank looking at the plain dies! So much to use! So little time! Hahaha

Beautiful cards! I've never given reverse sentiment stamps much thought until you pointed out that they are much easier to use than embossing white on black cardstock. What a great point! I don't typically emboss white onto black for all the usual reasons but I am going to pull out a few reverse sentiment stamps from my stash and give them a go. Many thanks for helping me see my stash in a new light!

I watched most of this video earlier today, I just missed the bonus card part. Glad I finished watching. All the cards are amazing, and what a great selection of products from Justine! I wish I could see your cards in real life, especially the bonus card with pearlescent vellum. Perhaps you should join my card swap, LOL!! Love your comment re: a butterfly shaped hole. I can't count the amount of butterfly stamps, dies, and stencils I have! I do like the "die inlay" technique. I used it as small part of my holiday cards this year, along with several others. Thanks for not asking me to pick a favorite among these beauties. They're all lovely.

That was one sentiment in the sentiment set from Justine, linked in the description. The rest (except one other, I think) are regular text. I hope someone will make a full set of 'white on black' sentiments! Thanks for watching!

5:50 OMG I didn’t know you can stamp on metallic cardstock! I kind of assumed it was too slippery to hold any kind of ink or heat embossing!
@ardyth9 ай бұрын
I would definitely use a stamp positioner and if you're using something other than embossing ink, give it lots of time to dry. Thanks so much for watching!

So much cuteness. Were they pre ink daubers or did you mark what the ink colors were on end of daubers?

Those are the Altenew mini blending brushes. I mark them with cardstock dots and adhesive backing. Thanks so much for watching!

Ardyth before you cut out the center.. the 2 wings and no center body made it look like same color butterfly looking at each other sideways. I hope that made sense but that looked so cool! But the cut outs are cool too. You are such a brain storm! I keep saying it, I want to be a fly in your brain...lol 😊 Did you make the colored cards in the background? Looks like they are divider cards?
@ardyth9 ай бұрын
oh yes, that makes sense! I definitely want to explore that idea more! And yes, I made the coloured cards as 'fronts' to my bins of stamps/dies/stencils/embossing folders. I used my stencils 360 to make 2 flowers and cut them in half, slid them in front of the teal plastic dividers. Thanks for watching!
