I worked with Filipino's for 10 years at one school. They were all English teachers and were excellent people to know and socialise with. They are from Cebu and they offered me a home there if I wanted to live in Cebu. I did visit Cebu back in 2014 and would love to live there permanently but cos I have a Chinese wife who I married back in 2007 I have to stay here in Nanning. If I wasn't married I would go as I probably would not be in China and staying on a spouse visa. There were a couple of women in Cebu who wanted to know me better. One worked at the hotel I stayed in and we had good conversations. The other kept following me around the shopping mall and trying to talk to me and go with her. I just politely told her to leave me alone.

I agree that ones circumstances is only known for both of them. However, at the same time, he's putting his video on internet and his audiences come from different backgrounds. Some with good intentions and bad experiences might warn him about the risks (especially knowing what Philippines is known for when it comes to older white men), while some could be trolling just for the sake of trolling/hating.
