My family hasn't celebrated Christmas since my grandmother died in 2004. The whole family broke apart a day after her funeral and it's been a fast downward spiral since then. 😢

African Tigress. You are right about Wells Fargo. It started as a money transport and security company back in the American Old West. They used to have armed stage coaches that would transport gold from California to banks all over America. They also operate a very popular armored truck business. It wasn't until fairly recent that they became very popular in personal banking as well.

We've been scaling back over the years because there are no longer children in the family and we feel like we have enough stuff, but definitely not boycotting! Most of my friends have been doing more cooking, gathering for parties, baking for each other, etc., rather than shopping.

No, we will never boycott Christmas. We love Christmas (most). Although a lot of people in the U.S. drive, many in urban cities like New York City, DC, Chicago etc., walk, jog or take the bus & subway. Many in the City give up their car in lieu of public transportation or walking when we can.Visit the Rockefeller Christmas tree in NYC when you get an opportunity.

I love Atlantic Station. It opened in 2005 and I had a small part in getting it built. I've been to the Vivo store there. But believe me. Atlantic Station is not the liveliest part of Atlanta. That would be the East Beltline from Ponce City Market all the way up to Krog Street Market. Trust me. That is where everybody in Atlanta hangs out now. Especially on a nice day. I would recommend making that walk from PCM to KSM on the Beltline or you can rent an e bike or scooter and ride it.
@AFRICANTIGRESS13 сағат бұрын
Thanks for the tips! I'll check out the East Beltline next time.

Atlantic station was not crowded because it is outdoors and its cold outside. Also Atlantic station is very nice but not as many stores as the other malls. Enjoy yourself. It was extremely busy at Lenox mall, Perimeter Mall, and North point mall. Lenox mall was a madhouse.

💯 let me say this Tigris here in America we love our country that's why we call it America the beautiful simply because we have to pay to upkeep it we have to pay to have the activities is not free 🆓 we have to pay the people that operate the activities so we can have more to enjoy 👌😉 because they don't want to work for free and we thank the Lord that😃 we can afford transportation and have a choice of😊 transportation what we want and also😂 and we can afford here in America what we want to drive we can live in the city or in the country so👍💓 please stop complain in comparing because other countries they got potholes everywhere you always been nitpicking nitpicking when it comes to America 🇺🇲 another countries you Nick picking Nick picking but you want a home in 😂 America and you love the food 😋you love them collard😉👍 red velvet cake and collard greens you love that pizza 🍕 😋 🇺🇲❣️🥰🥰🥳💯👍😉💓 So come on board and love our America 🇺🇲 right along with the rest of us black people everyone else can claim their countries but they have a problem when WE claim our country 🙄🤔 America what is wrong with that picture 🧐🤔 cuz I love my country🥰 America 🇺🇲 and I love the🌹💞 motherland too mother Africa 🌹🌍 Land that we all love☺️👏 Africa we as black Americans we were sold out but we have love 💕 so I'm saying this give Africa 🌹 💞 some time and it will have pavement to walkways 2 give Africa 🌹💞 a chance to catch up let's stop complaining so much in comparing so much it don't sound cute stop the hate it don't look good on😂 you 👌😉 you ain't the only one that's jealous of America 🇺🇲❣️ but all want to stay here and move here in America 🇺🇲❣️ love you❤💯 I'm just saying Justs speaking my truth no harm no shade 😉👌💞💞💞💞💞💞💞 enjoy your stay 💕

First, let’s talk about comparisons-I always compare! It’s something I do in every country I visit, not just America. I point out the similarities and differences for perspective. For instance, collard greens here remind me of sukuma wiki back home, and I absolutely love that connection. I enjoy oxtail, salmon, and collard greens in the U.S., though I’m not the biggest fan of cake and pizza. Sharing these details isn’t nitpicking-it’s exploring culture through everyday life. As for complaining, I do try to keep it real. If something doesn’t work or feels off, I mention it because that’s part of the experience. But my intent is never to focus solely on negatives-every country, including America, has its pros and cons. Lastly, I’m not looking for a home in America. My content is about exploring, learning, and sharing honest experiences. I hope that clears things up and gives you a better understanding of my perspective. Mind mentioning anything I complained about in this episode?

I think you might misunderstand where I’m coming from. Some people expect me to be flabbergasted just by being in America, but that’s not my reality. I’ve traveled to over 60 countries, and at this point, very little shocks or excites me like it used to. This isn’t my first, second, or even third time here. I’ve been to the U.S. before, long before I was a KZbinr-back when I had nothing and was just a student. Even back then, people were shocked that I didn’t try to stay and “look for papers.” But I made the choice to leave, even when my circumstances were tough. If I didn’t stay then, why would I stay now? I get that you might feel I’m comparing America to other places, but I’m not doing it to criticize. It’s about providing perspective. A lot of people who watch me have never been to the countries I’ve visited, or even to America, for that matter. My experiences help paint a broader picture of the world, so viewers can see beyond where they are now. It’s not about saying one place is better than another-it’s about showing the diversity of opportunities, challenges, and lifestyles out there. To be clear, I respect and appreciate America. It has provided incredible opportunities for my friends and family, and I’ve made some amazing friends here too. I don’t understand how someone born and raised in the U.S. could completely hate it-unless they haven’t experienced life and its challenges in other countries. There’s a privilege in being here that might not always be obvious if it’s all you’ve known. That said, America isn’t where I see myself living . It’s not about dislike or jealousy; it simply doesn’t align with my goals or aspirations in life. And that’s okay. Just like how Kenya, Europe, or Australia might not suit your goals, we each have different paths. As for visiting, I think it’s wonderful to explore the world and experience different cultures. America is a place I’ll always be able to visit when I want, but living here just isn’t part of my vision. By the way, you mentioned "Nick picking," and I’m not entirely sure what it means-it must be American English /slang. Either way, I hope this clarifies my perspective.

🇺🇲💓💭 Tigris I saw your videos and I saw your expression on how you felt about America 🇺🇲❣️ I spoke my peace and I know how you feel about America and all the rest of everybody that says negative things about my country but yet they love the lifestyle it's like none other😂 and I feel like you just like them you want to live here too but you don't really like us as Americans that's the truth and it's my truth I pay close attention to people and how they express themselves when they speak and I saw your expression and I heard what you said when you were in Florida and elsewhere else about America 🇺🇲 so that's my peace and it's my truth go back and watch your own videos😉👍🤔 and I love you as a African 💕 sister but it does not change my mind about how you feel about America we as black African Americans if it had not been for us and the price that we pay y'all wouldn't have the opportunity to come here in America 🇺🇲❣️ we pay the price we had the hoses put on us we paid the price and what did we get in exchange the disrespect we owe no one nothing but to love them if it had not been for us and in the history But it's the way you express yourself when you went into that store that was real and exactly what I'm talking about the store is here in America like we need another store nothing like we never saw before nothing no different and you didn't buy nothing you love the store so much you didn't buy☺️ anything why cuz it will be bought here in America 🇺🇲❣️✅ it's your choice there I spoke my peace enjoy America 🇺🇲❣️

Typically, Americans spend christmas with their family. opening presents, having a family meal, along with maybe visiting with friends. Usually most stores are closed on Christmas Day, so there are not as many people on the streets as there are on a normal day!!

@@AFRICANTIGRESS Your initial message was clear AT. I know that the minimal shopping and store window gazing, is happening in the midwest and the western states( many cities) So yes it's slow. Also, many folks shopped online this year. Even big name celebrities promoted their special things online this year, unlike promotion on TV shows in collaboration with huge offline businesses. So I understand what you're experiencing. Your interviews and observations for a first time experiece are on point. Love you videos. 🎄
