As much as pundits like Craig and Stevie constantly target Havertz, he keeps creating goals either through scoring himself, assisting, or with his pressure like on the 2nd goal forcing the goalkeepers mistake. Havertz is now up to 10 goals and 2 assists by early December. At this rate he’s going to score 20-25 goals and likely rack up somewhere just below 10 assists. Like the U-turn these pundits have had to make on Jackson at Chelsea, I can already see the likes of Craig and Stevie eating their words when it comes to Havertz by the end of the season. He fits Arsenal’s system very well whether these pundits want to acknowledge it or not.

Yes, they lost to Leverkusen away by a last-minute goal, but Inzaghi rested Di Marco, Barella, and Lautaro for 65 minutes of the match to rotate out usual starters like Thuram and Calhanoglu and also missed the usual starting 11 players like Pavard, Dumfries, Acerbi, Mkhitaryan, etc. So far, none of their CL matches has filled the best 11 but still do better than many big teams so should be in the conversation as one of the top 5 favorites
