It is VERY, different from talking about Hispanics, which is Not a race btw. Hence, why we don't like when people outside the subject butt in... Because they feel the need to inject every aspect of their, non-black experience to the sauce. And even if you are a negroid Hispanic, the trials are different. Yes we ALL face obstacles, but it's more about the severity, than screaming, me me me. So unless you have a pussy, brown/dark skin and go through the trials of facing unwarranted disrespect... especially when black women's interracial marriage rates are low. it would make way more sense to examine how it came to be that in 2015, 25% of black males' marriages were to non black women. That's one in every 4 new marriages, which is a large enough number to alter entire demographics in a matter of a couple generations. But instead there's all this analysis about the dating habits of the group LEAST likely of any in America to "Date out". I sense an agenda here.

This video made me really cringe

justme830210 exactly! Just the same as Rosenberg gets to make up examples of times he’s “swirled” all the while being married to a white woman, let BW prefer their own men. (Keep in mind his “swirling” experience was with a biracial woman...which goes to show that white ppl don’t see them as white) Let people live. I’m okay with IR dating so long as no one is bashing their own because if they are, then that means they specifically with that non-black person for their race and not compatibility. There is a massive difference and the fact he compared the two offends me, since he wants to talk about it being offensive. Black people not wanting to date outside their race because they are skeptical if the other person will understand them from their standpoint as a black person under white supremacy in America is not equal to white people not wanting to date outside their race because they think they are superior and everyone else is beneath them. One is from a defensive position the other is offensive. The same could be said for people who say they would never date a specific race but then turn around and say they have nothing against said race. C'mon, you wouldn't date an ENTIRE race of people? There has to be some blanketed general ignorance that you are harboring to say something like that.

Black women on average are more likely to want to be with someone who is black like them that shares the same experience and struggles as them, and know what it is like to be black. I live in a predominately black city and have been dating and interacting with black women my whole entire life. A lot of black women know the evil history of white men in this country and their mistreatment of black women by the hands of white men, which is why a lot of black women won't date outside of their race.

Most Black men that I've ran into glorify other races saying they want something "exotic" . I , myself , was put down because I was darkskin throughout my whole life. I was the type who said that I would never date a white man, until I got tired of the way they treated me. I even tried different types not just the cool guys but other black guys too. And they all end up cheating or lying or just wasn't ambitious enough. So I dated outside my race and got the respect I derserved. And now I'm married to a Macedonian man. So I just find it funny that you think you're this interracial relationship expert and you know ALLLL about how we act and how we treat men of other races when nine times out of ten you probably had a good woman like that. Like... actual hell with the abuse, cheating and financial instability. I value myself and future children way too much to go through any of that so I definitely date outside my race and I know a lot of other black women who do too. This is an old mindset that is fading with the new generation because the modern day Black Queen wants a stable family and is simply too educated to be saddled with that kind of baggage.

I heard this to be very common in places like Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic etc because they want to disassociate with their slave roots or maybe they feel superior to black American men who in a sense are still fighting for a sense of equality here in the US. Most likely your grandparents on your mother's side disapproved in your parent union and he feels obligated to marry you off to a lighter man in his shame of being dark skin. If you think about it Hispanic men including your father did and continue to do the same thing African Americans are doing and he's hoping you'll continue the legacy. It makes me very sad to hear this and he's sends a very disheartening message to everyone involved especially to you. Haha these guys are playing so much games. Ebro trying to see if that last girl only dates white dudes bc she is secretly broken by a bad relationship with her black father. Rosenburg acting like people should just want to go through the difficulty of dating interracially, like constantly having to teach other races about your identity is something you want to spend the majority of your time doing in a relationship. And both of them acting like Black women are just beating back the plethora of White guys trying to date them. I would truly like to see a follow up video called "Are White Men Afraid to Date Black Women?" I truly believe it takes a very confident white guy to go up to a black woman bc most of them act like they are afraid to ask BW out, even though they will easily approach girls of other races. They assume that BW are just not interested, for obvious reasons, but still, they aren't as willing to date black women as they are asians, latinas and the like. I date IR so I have no problem saying it is not as easy as they are making it out to be, regardless of shared values. I can understand why people of different races would be afraid to dip their toes into that world. I think it is good to try to break down the barriers, but some black women are not trying to be a white man's experiment or first foray into IR dating. It is already hard enough dealing with assumed racism but no one wants to have their assumptions proven true. IR dating is for people who like to mix it up. It's for those who aren't afraid to deal with the hard issues of race in real time, and who like to explore and see the world from another's perspective. It really is for the thick-skinned and those willing to learn first hand about other cultures. Also, sometimes people actually relate to cultures outside of the culture they were born with. Whatever the case, it's just not for everybody, but people should still try it once or twice though. : - ]

It's fucked that this is a conversation in the first place because like Rosernberg said, fuck your race, it shouldn't and doesn't matter when it comes to relationships. If a black woman for example doesn't want to date white men due to looks, I get it, everyone has preferences when it comes to what they find attractive; and that goes for any race and gender. But refusing to date based on a sweeping statement like white men 'are very awkward or disrespectful' is straight wrong. A white man refusing to date a black woman based on an untrue perception of the whole race/gender would cause outrage and there would be no hesitation in calling him out for his racism. Having preferences on looks isn't racist, judging a whole race due to a bad experience is.

People need to stop shaming people for NOT dating outside their race, I've never dated outside my race, and never would, now that I read what God thinks about it. God calls the Black/Latino people you see today, the Children of Israel, he told them NEVER to date outside their race(Deuteronomy 7:3) because they are his chosen race(Deuteronomy 7:6), he also says everyone hates us(which any ignoramus can see). He says the people we see from our race that dates other races, they just hate us(Tobit 4:13), but I love my people, like God wants me to.

It's not for everyone. You can feel anyway you want about interracial dating, but you shouldn't feel pressured to date anyone you don't have to because society tells you to. Our society claimed to be colorblind but it's not. People need to make this decision before they get involved in a serious relationship.

Correct me if I am wrong, but aren't white people to blame for Racism, slavery, and everything in between? If that's the case, then why is it that when we as black people decide to swirl it up lol, for the most part we bypass every other race and culture, and go straight to our so-called "Greatest enemy?" Doesn't make sense.

Yeah I agree with the black girl that said that she doesn’t have to educate white men on racism and I don’t think the two hosts understand what she means when she says that. But also a lot of white people when they get too comfortable with black people they start doing really ignorant stuff and when you call them out they get pissed off and usually black people and other dark skin people of color have to deal with that

I care less what someone says or think about my preference, I've dated men of different races and currently I'm dating a Puerto Rican.. it's about who loves you and who you love
