Are British Muslims losing faith in Starmer’s Labour?

Only five years ago at the last election, some 85 per cent of British Muslims voted for the Labour party.

A new poll suggests that over a quarter fewer British Muslims would back Sir Keir Starmer's Labour party.

The current Labour party is unrecognisable to the values i've expected from Labour in the last 40 years. Starmer is in a race to the bottom with the Tories. He needs to realise and understand that the current support for the Labour Party is largely underscored and fuelled by the electorate's fatigue with the diabolical Tory governance of the country and not because of grass roots support of Labour and its policies. His party's lead in the polls is therefore a very fragile one, despite the relatively healthy gap between Labour and the Tories. A fragmentation of the Labour vote to other parties could still see the Tories be the party with most seats, even if they do not gain a majority. When you scrutinize the policies of say the Tories and Labour; Republicans and Democrats; SP and Macron; Christian Dems and Social Dems, there is very little differentiation between the 2 primary parties in UK, US, France and Germany on economic and foreign policy. The protesters neither condemned HamAss who initiated the latest conflict with Israel nor asked them to release the women and children who have been kept as hostages in the tunnels.
