I got my first pair of Brooks back in 2020. It’s been 4 years. They’re dead now but that lasted the longest out of all of my shoes. So durability is great.

I remember wearing a lot of Brooks when growing up in the 80s and 90s. Probably bought them at Bi-Way which is another defunct discount store in Canada. I had no idea Brooks has had a resurgence.

Huge thanks for checking out the video and asking! In all fairness I’m more familiar with the fashion styles for Saucony than the quality comfort models to compare. If you’re looking for a fairly priced shoe with quality cushion then I recommend the Trace. I think they perform well for the price. However my faves are ONs and I recommend trying the CloudSurfer, Runner, or Stratus. Hope this helps!

@@fitnessnbeer9835 My issue are the color schemes of Brooks shoes. Take the Saucony Ride 16 for instance. Most are terrifically balanced. Brooks? Not so much. At least with the Trace!

Brooks are great for everything. They make many different styles for different feet issues. If you have something that’s not working with your current shoes do the research and you’ll find what you need. I own different pairs of brooks and ASICS and I personally would choose the high end ASICS over the high end Brooks.

There’s so many great options. I really enjoy the ON Cloud Surfers or Cloudmonsters. I also like the Hoka Bondi a lot. I actually like my Hoka and On better than my Brooks but they’re all pretty good. I also really liked the NB 1080’s but I haven’t actually owned a pair. Lots of the max cushion offering will offer a smooth ride for a 10k walk. Huge thank for checking out the video and asking!

Thanks for checking the video and sharing your experience. I think the durability is respectable. I’ve had my Trace 2’s, which is a lesser expensive model, for a while now and they’re great for the price. The shoe sole is finally starting to go flat now but I’ve put lots and lots of miles on them. Good value.
