Are Christians Protected If They Celebrate Halloween? Plus, Do Portals REALLY Open On That Day?

Last year I underwent surgery and from it I had complications. I went sepsis fighting for my life. God intervene and I went to hell. It was horrifying. I am still terrified every time I even think about it. But, as a Christian I was celebrating Halloween. And God convicted me for it and other sins as well. When I surrendered, and asked for forgiveness, he took me to heaven. From then on, I gave my life completely to Christ and I have not partaken in anything that will robbed away my salvation. When God gives his instructions, we must obey them because his decrees doesn’t change. After a year of my faithfulness, God spoke to me in a supernatural way and showed me my calling. I have my book coming out soon by end of year. I’m just blessed to have been given a second chance by God and not let me go to hell. Glory be to our LORD God! Amen! Let his name forever be lifted high! We can’t play with a ouija board and pray to Jesus and expect that to work. Same as we can’t take a demon out of hell dress him with holy clothes and expect it to be holy. Sin is sin and the devil is the devil. We need to stop watering down God by grabbing what belongs to the devil and trying to use it for good. Only God takes what the enemy meant for evil and turn it for good, not us. We need to be diligent and sober minded; otherwise, we will be playing with fire.

Anyone wonder why the name of Jesus resurrection would be called Easter, or have to do with rabbits, eggs and chicks? Easter is a corruption of Ishtar, Happy Ishtar. (also called astarte) goddess of fertility and sexual love. Now the eggs and rabbits make sense, right? I'm thankful my father taught me this as a child, when I asked him why Easter was called Easter.

Kind of needed to hear this since it's Halloween today and I was sort of bummed I wasn't celebrating. I used to dress up and celebrate but then I became a Christian. Shortly After I became a Christian I got really sick and couldn't do anything for years even if I had wanted too (which I didn't because I knew all this about Halloween). But I ended up backsliding unfortunately for a little bit and now this is the first year I'm feeling well enough to celebrate. However I'm also coming back into deep Christianity right now too. I love how she's straight forward this is good...this year I didn't want to celebrate holloween but my daughter was persistent and crying about a costume and school festivals so I let her partake and we went to a trunk or treat at a church parking lot...I noticed the night of my daughter and son begin to have a headache I noticed fear in them my 3yr son seen monsters outside our home my daughter was feeling things in the spirit they are very sensitive to these things already I noticed night mares that night even my lights in the home begin flickering...after seeing this video and then explained it to my daughter who is 10 agreed that we will not participate in holloween from this holloween forward 🙏🙌 We repented and ask for forgiveness..thank u Jesus no more celebration of the dead and darkness!! My case its kinda funny because, As a kid I´ve never really celebrate Halloween fully, as a child I always gave candy to kids from my door (like a giving act) but never went out or put a disguise on. Once when I was like 13 years old I was a bit older so I wanted to participate, but that week I just had a bad grade on an exam, and my parents didn´t let me go. Now being older I see the bigger picture, how God protected me in the details, and its pretty amazing realize all that.

One of the best breakdowns of what happens to us if we participate in Halloween. I understood Halloween associated with your cult, celebrating it opens doors to demonic attacks. I didn't associate that with attacks on your health and cursing your family. For me this seals the deal for me, I will have nothing to do with it. This may sound silly but why celebrate any holiday, they are all dated pre-christian and are from paganism? Easter: (fertility God) Eosturmonath in Old English, referring to a goddess named Eostre. Christmas is inspired by traditions from the Romans, Celtics, Norse, Druids, and more, winter solstice. From my understanding we cant make something clean if it was created to honor a different diff god. Like yoga, yoga was created to honor different deities invoking them by different poses as a form of worship (Hinduism, new age) The whole world celebrates these holidays just like Halloween. So what's the difference? On Halloween Christian dress up, give candy but call it a Fall festival. Deception evil disguise this good. Halloween is more obvious the exception is Easter, Halloween, Christmas Valentine's Day, mother's Day Father's Day all come from the same source and the world celebrates them and even schools are closed, we get days off... "The world" If we honestly think the world is honoring Jesus then we are truly deceived and don't know our Bible because the ruler over this world Earth is Satan. (Matt 4:8, John 8:44, 2 Corinthians 4:4, Ephesians 2:2, James 4:4) If the world celebrates it's maybe we shouldn't. We are to be set apart. Different from the world. Why aren't God's people explaining this? Why are we celebrating some and not other's when they all from from paganism?

I strongly believe that modern-day Christians should start celebrating the biblical feasts once more, feasta such as passover, yom kippur,rosh hashanah, hanukkah etc. I truly believe that if we celebrate these biblical feasts( if the holy spirit allows it) it will strengthen our faith even further due to how all the biblical feasts point to Jesus Christ. Obviously, reading the word of God and praying are far more important than these feasts, but I strongly believe these feasts will help us in out work with Christ.

I would love to hear recommendations for divided households with children. I prayed over my kids before my in laws took them out and after when they were asleep in their beds. I asked the Lord for His help navigating this year because it's my husband's favorite holiday. There is currently a jack o lantern sitting in my kitchen and a "haunted house" in my carport. I grieve every year since the Lord showed me this evil 2 years ago. I'm out of Babylon but yet I'm living with it and I can't get my kids out yet. I'm sure there are lots of divorced parents who are likewise concerned about this with the other parent. I do have His shalom peace and I do feel me and the kids are protected. He is so gracious.

Immediately I had a vision of a large skeleton hand interlocking hands with a small human hand. So like you said we're partnering with demons this entire month by participating. Then I saw the skeleton pick up a human and cradle him in his arms but then he opened up their chest and took something out which looked like a block of gold. Hosea 4:6 King James Version 6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. I was contemplating attending an annual Halloween party that a family member gives each year and the Lord has been dealing with me on this because I was going to go as not disappoint my family. I justified it by saying that the party was not actually on October 31st, but this interview with Julie showed me that I was just fooling myself. Also, a friend of mine was going to have a day of the dead celebration the next day after the party and the Lord was dealing with me on attending that as well. Lastly, my church is having a big trunk or treat celebration and I didn’t want to go to that. I’ve been praying about all three events struggling with the fact that in my heart I knew it wasn’t right to go but I didn’t want to disappoint people. The Lord moved on my behalf - the day of the dead party was canceled, I started not feeling well so I told my family member I could not attend his party, and I’m not going to attend the church event. I thank the Lord for answered prayer, for his faithfulness and for his love for me that he would give me this information so that I can make the best decision for myself and my family. God is so good and he loves us!! Thank you Jesus!

The most eye opening part of this to me is that knowledge is increasing and we as Christian’s need to be protecting ourselves in a spiritual way. I never knew any of this and I really need to find detailed information on how to protect ourselves. She mentions fasting but anything else. I don’t even know technically how to fast the proper way. Is there an order to fasting. Like do I need to pray a certain prayer before during and after fasting?

There are a few books on fasting, Jentezen Franklin, John Piper, etc. Having been in the same quandary as you about it (fasting is not taught in church, they usually skip over those parts), I learned that you can't think about it too long, you just have to do it, at least in the beginning. Annoint yourself it says in the bible. The best advice I received is when you are feeling hungry, headache, bad, spend time with the Lord and He will be your bread. It is true. As far as I can tell there is no formula prayer, only praise Him and present your requests. Probably a lot of Christians you know fast, they do it in secret so you just don't know about it. Ask around for advice and you will probably be surprised at what you find.

He was so fearful and I took authority over his home, but he won’t quit watching demonic movies while this was happening. He also prays to God and to his dad who passed years ago. We aren't even putting candy out anymore. I used to just leave a bowl of candy on the steps. I stopped decorating/celebrating Halloween many years ago. I didn't realize that the human sacrifice was so widespread in this country, but it does not surprise me. I remember years ago, reading about Ife and Yoruba in Africa and how the most powerful spells are from sacrificing 3 pregnant women. Then, I read the same thing about sacrifice in Santeria. I also have an acquaintance in New Orleans (who is a Christian) that has to fight ongoing Spiritual warfare because ever since the hurricane, so many people there have made "agreements" with demons to gain material prosperity> He says the number of evil spirits, the power of the principalities there is unbelievable. You can't even walk around there safely as a Christian without prayer and putting on the full armour of God, because even if you don't "Do" anything to these people, the evil spirits in them "know" you, as soon as you come around, if you are a Christian, so it's "Game on". I have to say 35 years ago, if you had told me the world would be like this today, my friends and I wouldnt have believed you; that's how much things have changed. Back then, even if someone claimed not to believe in God, if someone mocked God or said something blasphemous, even the atheists would kind of edge away from the person, and make a joke like " I don't want to be standing by you when the lightning bolt comes down". I NEVER a day in my life celebrated Christmas and Halloween. Jesus' AKA Yahusha's birth was in the fall time, but the Roman Church combined holidays of the Bible to their Pagan Holidays and that's where we got 'Christmas' from. I CAN DEFINITELY TESTIFY to portals being opened up because back when I lived in a town, (I live out in the country now AWAY from drama) EVERY Halloween season, I would have strange nightmares and demonic attacks and sleep paralysis and this was almost EVERY YEAR around that season. As soon as I (We) moved out to the country away from people, I stopped having those demonic attacks etc. I never barely mentioned it to my siblings and family and also, I didn't really have fear about it, I just couldn't wait till they would leave when it will happen. May God bless and PLEASE EVERYONE, we have but a SHORT TIME, keep the faith and stay prayed up! (As my Mom says😅)

My husband loves giving kids treats and seeing their costumes... I am a believer and don't celebrate it at all. However, years ago I did carve a pumpkin, I carved a cross, put a candle in it and had a sign that said, "The light of the world is Jesus" AND handed out cartoon tracts in each bag as well. I also rebuke and come against all the increasingly violent and demonic images decorating front yards and windows in our neighborhood. I also send the anointing, to 'break the yokes of bondage and set the captives free' when I'm in a store that is selling the costumes and other paraphernalia it's all I can think of to do! I now just avoid going into them during this time of year. I know of churches that have had "Hallelujah Parties" for the kids in their church so they have an alternative to being on the streets... besides "Trick or Treat" is actually a form of extortion! If you don't 'pay' me I will cause damage with a 'trick'... we don't know what we are saying, do we? Lord have mercy on the innocent but will He have mercy on the ignorant?

..Well, my birthday and many of our family is in October……does that make me evil ? …😊…We are Christian’s …some trick or treat …I turn off the lights and in no way encourage the trick or treaters ..I’ve never liked this activity ..but , if some show up anyway , I have healthy treats like pop corn or apples ….most don’t bother to come to a dark house …..We have no jack o lanterns , scare crows or other symbols ..I do like mums in pretty fall colors …my family knows not to trick or treat here …..I just celebrated my 80 th birthday …GOD IS GOOD , ALWAYS .

Very true about the contracts and generational curses and mental illness (don't everybody with a mental diagnosis get mad at me; I'm talking about MY family; yours may be different). My grandfather, who died when I was 3 months old (1966) had the sin of curiosity. He lived near a library in the Bronx that had a section with books owned by the Catholic church, that were restricted to the public. They were kept in a restricted room, and only the Bishops and Cardinals were allowed to reference them. I gather they had to do with Demonology and Witchcraft. My grandfather, had a friend who was a head librarian there. After enough begging and pleading she allowed him to read the books. His life was never the same. Entities were attached to those books, and since he didn't do any prayers, or protection, and wasn't particularly religious, these entities moved in.( My uncle saw them sitting on the roof and milling about in the backyard the day before my grandfather died. ) He then suffered from what they called Manic Depression then. So did all of his 4 children, and almost all of his grandchildren (except me). When I learned about this, I prayed constantly to break this, and then years ago learned how to break generational curses. The interesting thing is, when I did this, my sister who had been diagnosed as Bipolar? Her personality changed. No more manic episodes; no more laying in the dark for days. Now her psychiatrist says she no longer meets the criteria. Interesting, huh? The Bible says not all illness is due to sin. Jesus himself says that to the Apostles when they ask him who sinned that the man needed to be healed, and he said, Noone. However, sinning can cause illness and can cause generational curses as well.

@Jane Isawake Well, there are lots of different prayers, I guess depending on your faith tradition whether you are Catholic, traditional Protestant, Evangelical, they all teach this. I can give you a general idea or if you want to give me just an frame of reference for your faith tradition, I can give you the names of videos you can watch on KZbin or books if you prefer that set out how to do it. Some people say that they don't exist and it isn't biblical. Unfortunately it is is; the sins of the fathers,etc. Once these get attached to your line they continue generation after generation. The most helpful starting point for you ( or anyone) from what all the priests or ministers say, is examine your life first. Make a list of your besetting sins. ( those things you have always struggled with, and no matter how hard you try or how much you fast or pray, it's just really difficult). This could be anything from fear, anger, lust to substance abuse, overeating, personality disorders. Be honest with yourself about your struggles. Then look at your ancestors lives. Look for patterns. People blame dysfunctional homes solely on poverty,lack of education, mental illness, substance abuse, etc. but sometimes those conditions are caused by generational curses. Look for patterns. Once you give me an idea of what kind of perspective you're coming from, I can give you videos that will explain the process and how to break everything off. You don't need to tell me what your problems are, it isn't necessary. You just have to honestly look at your life and your relatives lives, and then the videos will walk you through ALL the categories so you can make sure you don't miss any. Don't worry, it works.

If a Christian celebrate Halloween they are violating the principles of the Bible because our Father said do not participate in necromancy which is stated in Lev 19:30-31, if one would research the origins of Halloween, he or she will discover that it was started based on fear, communicating with the dead, and coming in agreement with the dark kingdom. This is why our Lord said that " My people perish because they lack knowledge." (Hosea 4:6) We as Christians need to cling to the word of God and ask the Holy Spirit to give us understanding when we read the word. It doesn't matter how it is dressed up to look innocent, if it is celebrated by Christians, they are violating the word of God, which is rebellion. This is why we as Christians must understand the principles of the Holy Scriptures. It is the matter of assessing what we are participating in based on the principles of it and consulting the Holy Scriptures to see if it is in alignment. Just look at what Halloween is all about and a true Christian should know not to celebrate it. We must abide in the word ( Old and and New Testament) if we say that we are a new creation in Christ 🙏
