I feel the dryer is not suitable for a tropical climate where sunshines brightly most of the year. This will also save our environment. This especially was invented for countries where sunshine is a dream. We can save lot of electricity by not using dryers. Perspectives may differ but that’s what I feel living in Bharat.

Good question, actually normal spin and dry function doesn't completry dry the clothes , we have to air or sun dry them after wash cycle but in monsoon or winter (in north specially) when there is no sun for weeks clothes dryer dries them 100% and we can keep directly in the cupboard ..
