🚨BLACK FOIL MISSED🚨 After I was done filming, I realized I had missed that the Lawlar was in fact a black foil, best way to tell is by looking at the bottom of the card, if it’s not white and it’s darker, it’s a black foil

In my 6 hobby boxes, I received two worthwhile autos, including a Corbin Carroll and a Jason Kendall. The 10 other autos were rookies or pitchers that I'd never heard of. Most are selling on ebay for less than $10.

My wife is funny. She bought me that blaster for my birthday yesterday like I told you... She said they were putting them out at Wal-Mart which is usually just a picked through mess. I said I was going back to buy more, she bought me an update box too, and she said why I already bought you "the" box of those... She has zero idea how cards work. She's awesome. 😂

I tried 10 fat packs today. You get 3 pinks per pack, 1 chrome, and usually a red, or a black, or a green, so generally 5 parallels per 8 buck pack. The collation in the fat packs is way worse than other formats I tried; they have lots of 3-4 card runs of the same teams, I got 25 Braves cards, 9 of the pinks were Cardinals, luckily one was Masyn Winn, also got pink Holliday and Caminero (haven't pulled his base yet), did get 2 Skenes base, and a black PCA, and Langford Triumvirates. For Chromes only got a Lawlar and Ronny Mauricio (got a 1992 design variation of him in my hobby). Only reds worth mentioning were Barry Larkin and Johnny Bench, just for great color match. Funny you got Kierkering auto, I've seen it pulled 3x, including by myself. Took me a day to realize the Juan Marichal auto I got was a black to /25.

Great rip!! Ive ripped one of each except a fat pack and they were all decent. My autos were a red chrome Felix Hernandez/25, tanner bibee, and Mauricio. Numbered cards were mike trout, green foil/199, bo bichette, purple/75, buxton, orange/99, arraez, blue/50 and also a Pete crow 92 design variation.

I've ripped 1 compact hobby and my auto was Trey Cabbage 🎉🎉🎉. I did score a purple Wyatt Langford to 75, though. I've also opened 2 blasters and got an auto my first card. JP Martinez lol. 0 for 2 on good autos. Oh well.

The easiest way to tell the parallel, especially the black is the bottom border. It will look gray instead of the base white, on the black parallel

Hey West NY, I opened one of those compact 1/2 hobby box is what they say it is and with current prices a better deal, two of them cheaper than one hobby. I pulled a Ben Brown RC red chrome auto 50/50 -eBay one of one. Too bad it's a sticker auto. All the chrome autos are stickers and the paper cards have on card auto. Seems kind of weird that the chrome isn't on card vice versa

On the black foil cards, with the angle that you're holding the cards i can see a difference in the foil color, rewatch your video instead of looking directly at the card

Hard to get good grades on these cards if you get them graded because the foil damages and chips so easily

One thing I hate is why can’t topps or any of these card companies write on the back for back foils or anything like that so you’re not guessing and potentially selling a card you think is just a base for cheap and it ends up being a good pull? Idk just rambling lol nice vid

Idk why I always get the worse hobby boxes when order direct from Topps website. My hobby box has two no name pitchers autographs. Jackson Wolf that isn’t even in the major leagues anymore and some other relief pitcher I don’t even remember his name. Gonna order from steel city or Dave and Adam’s. Hope they get shipped hot boxes.
