I’ve gotten 6 mystery boxes in total, 2 at a time, 3 times. The first set of two I got was an adidas away Patrick Kane Chicago jersey. I love it. Also got a neon green Dallas alternate. Great first time doing it. Second time I got two away Canuck jerseys. No name no number. Two blank whites. Was underwhelming. But I’m a Canucks fan so I wasn’t terribly sad. Third time I got a matty beiners RR2 and an away Oliver bjorkstrand (also on Seattle) So of my three sets I’ve gotten from the mystery boxes, I’ve gotten the same team twice. And the Same jersey once. So it’s hit and miss for me tbh.

It’s basically a lottery…and decoding what stock CH is trying to move. It Can be fun or meh.. As a content perspective; It’s been a lot of fun doing and is my best vids so far. Even for a beginner KZbin channel like mine. I won’t do it all the time. But it depends on if you’re willing to take chances or spend the $$ 😊

I have only done one in the past last year. I bought three which made them come out to $100 each which is a pretty good deal on the surface. Ended up drawing a Preds RR2.0 with Josi stitched, Columbus blank 2.0 and a Maple Leafs Black Alternate with Reilly on the back. All were primegreen which was nice but my immediate thought was it seemed they gave me jerseys that would be hard to sell, especially for full price. So the pulls for coolhockey were not entirely random to me it seemed. The best part was definitely the surprise of not knowing what was in the box. But would I do it again? Probably not. P.S. Also hate that they give out a ton of jersey fouls which bother a lot of collectors like us. Like why do they feel the need to put the name of a player who never wore that jersey?

I have no idea why they do the jersey foul stuff…. That’s weird about it is, I bet no one asked for a Bergeron 2024 bruins alt, but cool hockey just made it anyways, maybe “preparing” for people to order them, and they didn’t. Or they had a lot of Bergeron name bars for some reason, so they just quickly stitched them to a jersey and added them to the mystery box. I have no idea how they decide this lol

For me and some of my friends that collect jerseys, we love it for the thrill of it. I understand more times than not the jersey in there might be available later on for cheaper and all that but again it's the thrill aspect for me. I have done 3 boxes and all 3 were successes (including when I pulled an LA Kings RR 2.0 last July). But for a lot of other people they're just a waste of money because again a lot of the jerseys you get are discounted or returns essentially. Early on I wasn't sold (especially when you couldn't get a specific size) but when they went to name and number Adidas I felt it was better. And for me I know that I have a chance that it'll be bad or something I have. i love the idea of the mystery box but I also understand Cool Hockey is a 4 letter word in a lot of collectors eyes (rightfully so in cases.) But to wrap it all up, I say if you want to do it go for it. It is fun and exciting but also know what you are getting yourself into. Great vud

I'm with you, the price is the MAIN reason these are not worth it. I remember getting one for like $120 CAD, that's a fair price IMO. That being said though, the jersey I got was a Hughes Canucks jersey which would've been sick however it was in a Fanatics, something they didn't even sell on their website. Nowadays, at least you're 100% getting a named adidas jersey, but the fouls really ruin it for me. Even 175CAD is way too much for a random jersey. I've seen some people get a Selanne jersey, which some people would be fine with... except the fact his name was spelled Selane. So not even correct spelling for a foul. The only reason I got mine were for the content as I already had so many jerseys, I knew I was probably going to get either a duplicate or something I didn't like, but in the end they still weren't worth it for me. With the price increase, its not even a question whether or not I should get one and I don't really think it's worth it for anyone to get one either. Just put all the teams or jerseys you want on a random wheel generator and use that.

100% agree. Couldn’t have said it better. The price made it so people who wanted to get them for the thrill, can’t even justify it anymore. I agree that I was ok taking the risk when the price was less. Even if I sold it and lost $20. I see it as though I lost $20 for some fun content. But now, it’s just to much

I see so many people getting the Horvat stick and rink jersey in the mystery boxes, this one person somehow ended up with 2 of them, they did get their boxes in 2 different periods. Personally, I do have that jersey but I brought it from the Canucks store in 2019, when it first got released, and I feel like if someone wants a Canucks jersey, who isn't really a fan of the team, they would want like a Pettersson, Hughes or Demko not a Horvat lol

100%. This is what I mean when I say it’s used for the company to clear stock. And that’s about it. Which can make it tough for people who look forward to getting a good jersey. But on the other side, that’s what gambling is. Which is what the mystery box is

It really depends on your collection, and if you feel like gambling full price for a jersey you don’t want.

I bought a CH Mystery Box the first year. I think they were $75 US maybe even $50 US and I still felt ripped off. I received a blank Reebok Blackhawks jersey. I tried another company's Mystery Box (AJ Sportsworld) and again all I got was a rock. So maybe I just don't have good luck with these but I have sworn off all of them.

I think it’s just how they work. The intended purpose is for the company to get rid of stock, while throwing is a few “rare” finds to keep others trying

Just got 3. Crosby, Letang home and RR Western all star Stuart Skinner. 150 each. Letang has no A on it. Just started collecting and bummed I received 2 pens home. Is it worth it? Eh.

Cool Hockey screwed up 2 of my orders last year. They gave me a $50 off coupon that basically never expires. I use this for mystery boxes and basically only pay $100 for one every time. I recently got Ovechkin in a box, just ordered another so fingers crossed for another good Jersey!

I’ve only bought one box, I’m a sharks fan and I got a Sharks Vlasic jersey so I was fricking stoked. The next day I found out they delivered me another box for free which was wild…I thought they screwed up. I ended up getting a St Pats Nylander jersey which I was bummed out about. Anyone want the st pats jersey size 44 hit me up lol

They send nth but damaged ones. That’s why they do this. There’s always a flaw.

I think that’s just Cool Hockey quality control. They don’t check all there customized jerseys before they get shipped out. (Still have no idea how this happens)

Would you ever consider ranking full uniforms? I saw the Canucks winter classic uniform the other day and feeling let down considering how much I liked the jersey on its own.
