I want to add up one thing. Many might disagree, but most of the accidents caused by is bikers. They don't care or lack of negligence about basic road rule sense. They speed alot or try to maneuver inside two vehicles and also coming in wrong lane. They don't even care to check sides and back while crossing. No side mirror no indicators. Govt in TN should very strict action against this. Moreover max number of people don't use helmet. Because of these reckless riders, cars and big vehicles get in accident just to run away the bikers. My humble request is to ride safely and in correct manner plz

I'm from Tirupur and I saw the aftermath of the accident. It was said the car was said to be travelling at 140+ and an biker intrudes the road. Car jumped over the center median and rams to the bus travelling to Palani on the opposite lane. The road was newly upgraded tirupur ottnchathiram 4 way road which is a straight stretch for over 90 kms. Bodies were laid on the road when we passed by. Tragic incident 😭. Even the engine was thrown away and structure of 700 totally collapsed.

Government should bridge or underpass,in crossing area,village Junction or crossing persons should see the left and right while crossings and if vehicles arrives they should wait or person coming in the main roads should reduce the speed while nearing,Junction village or crossing

Thanks a lot Mr.Asir. I may be a responsible driver today. Once upon a time I was also a rash driver in both cars and motocycles. I have recklessly driven many times and have made a few minor accidents also. One of the commenters said : age is a factor. Its true. A vehicle is not just a commuter. Its a responsibility for everyone. Riding for thrill is mostly done by the youth. Unfortunately everyone is trying / allowed to ride a bike/ car in our country without proper training and mental conditioning. Our governement shoud take more steps to provide inputs to a driver and make professional training and test compulsory to drive on road.

If this XUV 700 vehicle was 100 km / h during the collision & at same the time bus speed was 60 km/h( in breaking condition ) .. if we add both due to opposite direction total speed was 160 KM /h during the collision .. That's why it's a major impact accident ........sad ! But crash testing speed is 64 km/h & it hitting in a stable part...so we are seeing less impact in car . In this accident case two vehicles movement is opposite ...vehicle should follow highway 🛣 speed limit rule !

When titanic ship was build it was advertised that it’s the safest ship in the world and at any cost it will not sink, which pulled more than two thousand passengers to travel in that ship but in her maiden voyage itself ship sank and thousands of people lost their life. The reason was not the build quality or any technical mistakes instead it was negligence and overconfident which led to the historical tragedy. We can relate titanic accident with these kind of accidents happening in roads. The car manufacturers will advertise in all the possible ways to attract the customers to buy their car like how Mahindra did for xuv 700 saying it’s the safest car with 5 star ratings and added so many features which are not suitable for Indian roads. But after buying those cars and because of our negligence and overconfidence we drove the car in high speeds in the road which doesn’t support that much speed and end up in losing our precious life and also killing others.

Great and much important awareness video. Yes, I agree with your points. if we have High speed vehicles, does not mean we need to travel at high speed. People lives are more important than ride thrill. I also met several accident (as a pillion in motorcycle & passanger in four wheeler) because of careless drivers. I learnt from those incidents that how precious life is. Hence why I am riding TVS star City Motorcycle at the speed of 50km/hr. Why not OEMs limit the speed below 120 or 100 for every cars & 80 top speed for bikes regardless of CC.. speed limiting devices to be installed. So that accident will reduce Crash test to be evaluated at 100 km/hr in Dynamic condition based on rating speed to limited for that car, nobody drives at 60 in highway.

Dont blame the car. Driving dynamics means containing body roll,turning the wheels where the pointed. XUV didnot have those problems. The driver was DUI and in this video,he said the driver turned the car to avoid a bike. At high speeds,steering respond even to slightest input. The car just performed to whatever input the driver gave it. It is irresponsible driver who caused all these mess.

Ji, please make awareness about 3 seconds rule in car accidents. I personally think knowing relationship between speed and time would make drivers knowledgeable. Also many of us do not get opportunity to apply sudden break even when at 80, 100. This means our brain or alertness are not tuned. Simply we don't get breaking experience on high speeds. When this happens unexpectedly our reaction will be too late.

The driver should always keep in mind that there are other road users, so he should drive responsibly and be alert always that others do make mistakes. Never attempt over speed if you can't handle the vehicle.

Well explained @asir bro. People really need to understand crash test rating and the parameters involved. I now see an increasing number of people saying I have a 5 star rated car. Stronguu, toughuu etc etc. But in reality whatever the crash test rating may be, ultimate safety depends on the driver and all road users. Just going by crash ratings or list of features on vehicles is not the wise decision.

Everyone should appear for theory test....after passing...he can attend practical test.....Atleast everyone should know about traffic signs,lane changing,Giving way for oncoming vehicles,dazzling lights.... They will get a lesson and will obey the rules.....theory test is must

You are correct. I also met an accident (as a pillion) in motorcycle on year 2018. My stupid nephew drove the motorcycle at the speed of 90 km/hr, even though I warned him, he did not care. And he lost control of the motorcycle, and motorcycles went into farm field. He was okay after the accident, but my arm was broke. I can't even move my arm after the accident for 6 months. Now I am okay. Now even though I can afford 250cc motorcycle, but I am driving TVS Star City at the speed of 50 km/hr. I can enjoy the long rides by seeing different locations at low speeds. Also it is safety for me and pedestrians and vehicles driving near me. Low speeds reduces Accident probability. Thanks

This is very unfortunate incidence and could have been avoided. I would partially blame the the marketing campaign of some of the Car Manufactures and some of the Car reviews partially responsible for these occurrences. When the company commercials and advertising campaigns highlight the highspeed dynamics and safety people get a wrong message and feels that they are buying the super machine. This is pushing the adrenaline in the owners/drivers of these cars and they feel that they have invested so much on the highspeed dynamics and safety so what's wrong in trying to push the boundaries. They are waiting for the opportunity to try the maximum speed during their road trips so that they can boast this to their friends and families and in social media. I have seen a KZbin video of an adventurer covering 600 plus kms in 6 hours in our Chennai to Kanyakumari highway on a normal day. This is not a test in the controlled environment but a Realtime adventure not only putting him to danger but also the co road users to risk. I like the way you insist on the drivers and other road users safety on every video. My humble request to all the reviewers to adhere to the speed limits of our roads and never showcase the highspeed dynamics in our normal roads. Viewers are seeing you as role models and trying to mimic the same in their normal driving routines. This is the need of the hour video and I really appreciate motowagon for insisting on safety always over other aspects.

You can go easily by saying the spec of the car why should mw team mentioning to avoid the road rage to gain the life which you do not get back.
