I'm sold Shao. Going on a week or two cruise is now in my bucket list. I love your vlog style and enjoyed how you explained the things to do there and some facts. A question tho do you think it'll be a fun experience going solo or do you need some mates or a partner to enjoy it more?

@@JustaGeek2400 Hey Justin! I'm so glad you want to give it a chance. And thank you for enjoying the Vlog. Just wanted to make it very me. I think whether you'll enjoy it as a solo traveller depends on how much you travel alone already. If you're not comfortable going on your own, take a mate. But I think the general quality of the cruise experience should keep you entertained regardless.

Fam and I have been cruising since the 2000's, were even travel agents for a time, and I tell you cruising really is the "best bang for your buck" and true definition of "all-inclusive vacation." Of course with the current pandemic, we've slowed down with the cruising, but hope to get back to it again. 👍🏼 Enjoy your time sweetie. ☺️

Thanks! I'm determined to do yacht club, hopefully by next spring. I'm in Tx so I'll go on one out of Florida. Can't wait! Enjoyed your video.

Great video, one of the best I have seen. I am glad you said you should keep it to yourself and not tell other youngsters. as a golden oldie I don't want the ships too crammed with people. HaHaHa I know we are criticised but we have been around long enough to know a good thing. Cruised ships are no more expensive than other holidays I had had. Glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks so much for watching the video. Which cruise line would your recommend?

As a guy who started solo cruising at 27, I can confirm cruises absolutely aren't for old people! However, you do need to be careful which ship and cruise line you go for, as some are attracting a younger market (like Virtuosa), but some others tend to market to a much older audience (like Cunard)!

Absolutely agree. What's your favourite ship?

Obviously, you can enjoy your life however you want, so I don’t want this to be construed as being against you. Personally, I will never go on a cruise ship because I’m afraid I will get some type of illness. Not to mention the exploitation of workers that happens on those things
@ShaoDowMusic2 жыл бұрын
I hear you Nick. But actually cruise ships have some of the most rigorous cleaning and illness prevention practices in place. Obviously, no where is perfect but I don't think it's any worse than going to a regular holiday resort. In regards to exploitation, I can't speak for all ships, but all the staff seemed pretty chill and happy on board and it's definitely a viable way for people from less well off countries to earn a living to send back to their families so as long as the ships are treating them and paying them well - I think it's a good thing. Have you been on a cruise before?

If you use the facilities provided to was your hands there is not a problem. It is only those with bad hygiene you need to worry about. I have cruised for years and seen staff from Asian countries on different cruises art different times. When I chat to them and some I have even been in contact with for a few years, they have said to me they are able to buy several houses in their own country ready for their retirement. I don't think that is exploitation. Don't assume all people are exploited like in Qatar and other Arab countries.
