CSU graduates end up working shoulder-to-shoulder with UC and private school graduates. The only reason CSU schools are not ranked high is because they do not do research like the UC system and their acceptance rate is higher.

- 2 Career Fares: Not the same as campus placements, N/w with HR's/Companies - Information Sessions Positives in San Jose: - In the heart of Silicon Valley, so you are surrounded by companies. Very easy to get internships/full time opportunities Cons in Chico: - Smaller town. So there are not many IT Companies that are hiring. - Less Internship opportunities in town. So, you have to move out of town for internship & figure out your living & all - CSU's are not in Top 50/100

Accepted to UCLA and UCR. Could not afford UC tuition and got full ride at CSUN. Employers look at CSU graduates as more approachable by recruiters.

Cal Polys have the greatest prestige of the CSU system as well as engineering network if you are going to do something with STEM. As for everything else, there are 21 other campuses to consider on a department basis.
