I'm honestly better without them, as my playstyle is revolved around switching back and forth between shotgun and smg (unless I have a frenzy) and thus the ability to tell the gun by the crosshair is necessary as I tapfire with shotgun and hold fire with smg

You can set custom keybinds on the Crosshair X software, so for example if you press the key for your shotgun, it will show the custom crosshair for your shotgun, same way with the AR or SMG

For the performance impact it's actualy because there's a setting in the main app which is hardware accelaration i'd recommend disabling it.

Crosshair X works in fullscreen. You just have to use the game bar feature. Tutorial is in the Crosshair X software. Hope this helps

what you also can do is get a custum Crosshairs for youre msg and shotgun(only for croisair x) you yust have to go to saved click on the pensile to edit it and then you can put a custum keybind to active that Crosshairs so what i then do is put my smg, shotgun, sniper or ar to the keybind i use to swich to that wapen so that when i click on my keybind to switch to my shotgun it also switches to my Crosshairs wich i the best for my shotgun as i use a big one for my shotgun and a smal one for my smg, sniper and ar

You have to have full screen disabled, and full screen optimisations on (which disables true full screen), this gives input delay, along with gamebar. Many gaming monitors have a red dot you can add to the centre of the screen, this is ideal. I refund CrosshairX after 1 day.
