oh my goodness, I used to be a park greeter at DAK, and there was one time I was working at the exit. I told one person he would have to finish his full cup of beer and he started getting SO passive aggressive with me. he started going like “okay fine, I guess I’ll just CHUG my drink and then go DRIVE.” so he finished like half of his drink, threw the rest away, then as he went to exit, while he was passing me, he started yelling back at me “I guess now that I’ve chugged my beer, i have to drive with my TWO-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER IN THE CAR.” and the other cast member there and I just sort of looked at each other and she was like “what exactly was he planning on doing with a full open cup of alcohol in the car?”

I wanted to chime in really quick on stuck up princesses. Now I haven’t met all of them, but honestly the ones I have met backstage have been super sweet!! I had a nice convo with one about getting bows on her shoes!! I’m food & beverage, they treated me like anyone else & they were so nice!!

When fountain view was still there, if it rained, Belle or Aurora or Snow White would meet guests in innovations, so we’d walk in the back to get something & there’s Belle or Snow White. They were always so sweet!! Nicer than regular cast members!! Lol

So...I worked at Disney World for 6 months a few years ago. I worked attractions and did some entertainment as friends with a very popular princess. I quit after 6 months because of bullying. Some CMs were great- the ones who I didn't work directly with were the best, just happy to be around me, and really were into the magic "I" brought with me. I got along well with only like 2 other friends of face characters because all the others were constantly gossiping, scheming and rude.... management was the same. Toxic and manipulative. After watching a dozen or so other brand new people quit and warn me about why they were quitting, I realized that crying every day at work, losing sleep, gaining weight, getting acne... all the results of verbally abusive peers, Disney's strict mandatory overworking, and low quality standards in general.. was going to kill me with stress and I quit as quietly and professionally as I could muster. I'm now a private contract "princess friend" only, working only events where I have a lot of control and can end an experience at any time. I'm treated so much better, paid at minimum 10x more than in the parks, and the people who request me appreciate me far more than Disney ever could or did. If anyone ever were to ask me, I would literally only ever recommend working at DisneySEA or Tokyo Disney. They do things very, very differently over there.

Im a wdw cm (skipper at the jungle cruise) and one day when i was working one of the Christmas parties doing crowd control, Jasmine's "friend" said to me "you guys do a great job! Thank you for all you do!" And when i worked at DHS (gmr, jedi training and red carpet meet and greets) and olaf, minnie and mickey were the nicest!!! I think "furry friends" cm are nicest in my opinion!

I love to hang out at Animal Kingdom Lodge whenever I’m in Orlando. I made it through to the final vocal workshop for Candlelight Voices of Liberty and full-time Voices of Liberty 3 times and loved the audition experience. Didn’t get the final gig, but was thrilled to know they loved my voice and had me on their radar for the future. Love your channel! 💜

So I was in the culinary program and worked in magic Kingdom, I always saw the performers after the parade at night and oh man! I would just hear them talking so much shit about other performers and even guests they met. I honestly don't think I've ever met or run into a down to earth face performer.

My favorite that I've actually been to is still Pop Century. Great bang for my buck, the buses seem to run more effectively than the All Stars Buses and no Pop-Warners, and I *love* the Chicken Soup at their cafeteria. If I had MONEY though, I'd love to try staying at the Polynesian. It's got the best theming of the Monorail resorts, and who doesn't want to stay on the Monorail? In Anaheim I've never stayed on property. We prefer the Park Vue Inn. It's a cheepish motel, but it's directly across Harbor Boulevard from the pedestrian entrance to the park... possibly an even shorter walk than the Grand Californian!

The resort I would love to visit is the later cancelled Disney’s Asian Resort, it was a Thai themed resort set to be build in 1974 in the plot of land where the Grand Floridian would be, but could be moved to plots on bay lake or next to the grand Floridian near the monorail entrance. There would be an 160 ft tall center building and 500 rooms overlooking the big garden on the resort and seven seas lagoon. It was never built because of a loss in tourism due to an energy crisis and was scrapped. I wish one day we could see what that resort would look like in depth. I can only dream

I recently stayed in the Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in March. I loved it, only downside was the only transportation option being the Busses. Especially when you are trying to get the boarding pass for Rise of the Resistance at DHS. My girlfriend and I waited for the bus for what felt like eternity and when it finally showed up it was completely full. We missed the window for a boarding pass but we were planning on going back the next day. Chose to take the minivan that day. Made it right on time and got to ride. But the room was beautiful and spacious. I definitely suggest staying their if you want a deluxe resort experience for a moderate price. My next trip I am going to spend the extra money and stay at Disney’s Beach Club Resort.

The Disney College Program is an internship with a set start and end date, with housing and transportation provided; whereas working for disney in general does not have a set end date or housing / transportation. I know people who went to UCF and still decided to participate in the College Program, but I also know people who went to UCF and decided to work for the Company part time since they already had housing and a car. It depends on what you need!

I've stayed at Art of Animation and All Star Movies out of all the times that I've been and I fell in LOVE with AoA! My best friend and I are planning to stay there for our Disneycation next year (Lion King suite!) I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to stay at the Grand Floridian during Christmas time when the gingerbread house is out 😍 your hair looks absolutely amazing and I love the music you have in the background, reminds me of Fantasyland near Ariel's Grotto!

Normal- Caribbean Beach..any excuse to ride the skyliner lol Villa resorts- Old Key West, Saratoga Springs. The thing I don't like about the resorts in the Boardwalk area is that the hallways are very long, and some parts of Boardwalk are hard to get to. My parents can't do stairs much so.

Hi! I did the DCP for spring 2020 and there were some people who were a bit older doing the program at the same time as me. I believe there was someone doing it in her 50s, so if you ever decide to go back to college it’s still an option :)

When I worked in MK, the princesses were INCREDIBLY cliquey, but it wasnt just them. The mouskateria was like "only sit with your land". And different lands absolutely thought they were better than others. I got to see both sides of this with my CP in Tomorrowland and then moving to ATT afterwards. I do have to say though, that one of my oldest friends was a face performer for many years and is a very sweet girl.

My family and I stayed at the Contemporary Resort when I first went. My family LOVED the convenience of the monorail coming right through the hotel, and our room had an amazing view of the Cinderella Castle (my dad got sick, so we spent a lot of nights watching the fireworks from our room). Also, Chef Mickey's was SO MUCH FUN to eat at! The Mickey-shaped waffles were amazing!

My family and I stayed off property last time we went to Disney World. But every time we went before that, we stayed at The Polynesian Resort! It was always my favorite place to stay, but I would not mind going to The Contemporary Resort. My cousin's family stayed there last time they went, and they enjoyed their stay.

Well as of now, I love the original Magic Kingdom of course. Disney California Adventure is okay but it isn't my favorite. But the one I would love to visit is of course, Walt Disney World. I would love to meet you someday at Disneyland and just talk or at least say hi. I think I would be very shy to just say hi to you, but I do hope someday if you come out to Disneyland I will actually try and say hi to you if I see you around. My favourite resort has to be hands down the Contemporary. Great location and there is so much to do around the Bay Lake area. There's the monorail that goes through the building every 5 minutes. I'm a bit biased though since it was my merch location for my ICP :)

I had no idea you were from Cali! Im born and raised in Cali and Disneyland is my second home, I am there ALL the time. This gives me hope to eventually do the dcp in Florida because it’s been my dream for about a year. My parents were pretty negative about it when I brought it up to them and it kind of crushed my dreams of going to Florida, but I definitely know I WILL be there one day 💕💕

Honestly, I prefer staying at timeshare properties when we're in Orlando. It's a LOT cheaper and we're never in our room anyway. If the resort prices were comparable, I'd stay there.

I'm staying at my Aunt's timeshare again in December. I wanted to make this year my first on site Disney trip but its too ridiculous when her nice timeshare is right there. I love the affordability of some Universal on-site hotels though. Absolutely worth it.

The alchol part, I feel your pain with that. I worked for an Aquarium (rehabilitation one) but in the main lobby they changed it up real nice and beautiful and had a New Years party there where tickets were like 100 something and it was a black tie event. Well they had unlimited beer and wine. Those of us who worked the event had to dress up too as well but with our name tag. Well at the end we had to make sure no one left with alchol. I was polite and let this girl know she couldn't leave with her alchol, she threw her beer on me. Her guy friends eyes widen and were like "I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry!!!" I had to clench my teeth while saying "that's ok." They rushed off. Also a random girl jumped on a random guys back and we had these sheets up that looked like walls to cover the ticket areas and because the girl jumped on this guys back unexpectedly, he couldn't hold her. They went through the sheets and I think the girl hit her head on the table part of the tickets area. I had to go get them ice and I don't think she even felt that until the next day. When we were icing them and checking to see if they were ok he was like "I don't even know her! She just jumped on my back!" I didn't get home until about 4 or 5a.m. (bf had to pick me up and go through downtown traffic). New Years day I slept in then the bf and I headed to Epcot at Disney for a few hours to relax lol.

We've stayed at art of animation and Caribbean beach Would love to stay at all star movies but it doesn't allow 5 people. :( Does disney make you sign contracts stating you wont give your character away that you're playing? Or do they have someone checking out social media for their cast members?

My mom and I stayed at Caribbean beach in a pirate themed room and it was AMAZING!! and I honestly don't know if they have people to look at social media. From my experience it's been nosy trouble-seeking cast members who threaten fellow cast members and then snitch them out

I work food service at DCA and if anyone wanted to know the reason alcohol cant be taken outside of the parks is because each area has its own specific alcohol license. The DCA license is different to the one in Downtown Disney and DL (for example what alcohol is allowed in the area and etc) so the guest MUST finish or throw away their alcohol before exiting due to legal reasons with those licenses 😁👌

When you audition to be a performer, do you have an option to choose what you’re auditioning for? For example I’d love to be some sort of performer in the stage shows/parades, ((not directly interacting with guests, but still performing)) and not be friends with any characters or princesses. Or do you just audition for performance type roles and but you don’t get to choose

For the DCP, it's just one audition and then once you're down there and in entertainment they do have Halloween and Christmas parade auditions! If you're not doing the college program then yes I believe there are separate parade auditions. disneyauditions.com has all the info :)

I definitely see both sides of the frustration. I could definitely understand not taking alcohol out of the main entrance to Epcot because in theory people are going to their cars. You factor those exiting the international gateway (prior to the skyliner being there) were probably staying at Y&B or Boardwalk. Now with the skyliner there you definitely don’t know. I totally understand the rule being in place now lol.
