I kinda feel bad but I hated when dot was like really meta it felt so damn pressuring with the ruan meis and black swans especially during the dot pf.I think we all hate the dot pf

Was probably the case for a lot of players since there wasn't much variety of teams as it was dominated by hypercarry comps until Black Swan came along for DoT teams and it didn't help that PF was released by then and heavily supported DoT weathers, making people feel left out. No worries though, as long as you're having fun now, that's what matters!

I loved dot pf but now that everything is either break or follow-up it’s over for me… I wish this game wouldn’t effectively brick other playstyles every time they release a character for a different one

DOT's become pretty situational now. It can be strong in some content, like the latest AS, but its become hard to brute force content without eidolons/sigs

Definitely needs the weather buffs, when they do, they can compete. But brute forcing is a little harder now.

Tbf you didn't really take advantage of the break gimmick for this turbulence and couldn't take advantage of the boss break dmg either yet still got 2 cycle with dmg to spare. DOT not really that weak right now it just doesn't have as many shill scenarios. DOT was amazing against in Apocalyptic Shadow second half.

Was focusing more on stacking and popping the DoTs since they had shared HPs, and middle doll would blast the others with arcana. Wasn't sure about the extra breaks but had more faith in DoTs. Maybe I'll try playing more around the break? But I think it'll be hard nonetheless, thanks for the tip though!!!

@@potatodes I was saying DOT team couldn't take advantage of the break turbulence nor the extra vulnerability from breaking all 3 puppets because nobody was fire element yet you still got a 2 cycle with pure brute force. That is really good performance tbh even if it is an expensive setup.

Luckily i started playing this on february. I only have the strong ones. Seele, jingyuan, daniel, blade, jingliu, argenti, luocha. I dont have all these mid characters in today's standard. Man i can only disaster and the regret on pulling those characters along with their lc. Right now i have: Followup: -dr ratio, robin(s1), aventurine, feixiao(s1), jade Break: -ff(s1), boothill, e6 gallagher, ruan mei extras: -acheron(s1), sparkle, jiaoqiu, black swan, kafka Almost everyone is at tier 1- tier 0 except the DoTs. I still pulled for them to fill up the DoT achetype. It is kinda a "blessing" that i started playing hsr late lol.

It took my exact same team 7 cycles lol. All E0, no signature light cones on my account.

Yeah the difference without signature lightcones is huge for the characters, Black Swan eidolon also further shreds resists so yeah... Though right now, those investments are not worth it when reruns appear unless DoT gets buffed or you really just love them.

It’s sad that a 10 cost DOT team (E1S1 everyone but HuoHuo) clears in 2 cycles. Only a few MOCs ago it was “premium.”

They definitely were, blasting through MoC in 1 cycle without effort and even just being able to brute force them. Good times, but powercreep is just unavoidable :(

It's kinda sad to see that this is what happened to the DOT archetype. Really can't blame HYV for selling the new units. A bit of a tangent here, your name reminds of this friend that I used to play league with. I wonder what happened to that guy now.
