Are ETG Roulette Machines Really Random? One Spin Has Me Questioning Everything…

Welcome back for another ETG roulette session at The Green Valley Ranch Casino in Las Vegas!
For this session, my girlfriend and I decided to kick our day off by chasing the zeros since they were almost off the board and figured we would try playing half the table as a hedge as opposed to the usual double dozens…but unfortunately it didn’t matter what strategy we would choose../because one spin would take place during this session that has me questioning everything I’ve been told and come to understand about these machines…
I’m not an engineer or physicist, and I haven’t drawn any conclusion yet, but the spin that starts at the 3:00 minute mark is by far the worst offender I’ve ever seen when it comes to something being off with these machines…
From what I’ve been told and understand, In Nevada, an electronic game that has a physical wheel or dice has to play out exactly like the table game counterpart and be completely random with the physical object being the only thing that determines the result…
With that being said, I would love to hear your opinion on the specific spin as well as your experience as I try to reflect on the reality of what we witnessed…

If you want to win on this roulette game learn to play slow wheels only. If the ball bounces like popcorn its a fast wheel. Slow wheels play repeat numbers or back to back and neighbors. Most hours I am lucky to get 10 minutes of slow wheels. I like my green and ride extra on green say 3 to 5 dollars. Also when greens hit they often go back to back. My best game I took $20.00 into $500.00 cashed out and waited for my friend to loose her paycheck. We went to a different casino with the same machine and I took $60.00 into $500.00. I once had a green fest and took my normal $100.00 into $1100. I also saw a guy win 10k in a hour starting with a $1000.00 and playing $100.00 on the Back to back bet.

🤔….It’s interesting that you mention that…if you have watched any of my past etg videos I’ve always said in the past that the slow spins are usually when I hit my numbers…

That was a push out of the 0 at 3:20 in the video. It was pushing the ball around before that, mostly to avoid black. You had increased the bet on green to profit $15.50 from it hitting, and a soft push on the ball into a black pocket reduced the player profit to $0.50. Much the same situation at 15:01 in the video with the ball being deflected off the green, just less obvious. I would avoid betting the 0/00 because it is so visible to the machine's camera that the machine can take evasive action.

There were so many odd spins during this session I have felt less inclined to play it lately…we’re hoping to have a live table option soon, but unfortunately the minimums are much higher…

No, they are like a slot machine. They have an RNG in them. When the ball leaves, it knows the number and uses magnets to pull the ball to that number. It is not like your table game. I researched it by going to the manufacturers website.

I know they are classified as slots but always thought anything with a a physical object that determines the outcome has to random… It leaves me to speculate that the slot classification might be the only restrictions they need to conform to.

Team green got stuck at the airport. 61 total. 36 hit 5 times,30 hit 6 times. Start columns of 10 with 30-11-27 and catch EIGHT jumpers. Watch the 36 after 30 numbers. 33 as well. Thanks for the shout out, you’ll get that money back tomorrow. Thanks for the numbers.

I am beginning to question the randomess of these things…especially since they worked on it, it is operating noticeably different. A 21 followed by a 12 is a flip flop as Scott Clayton refers to it! Thank your for the positive vibes, we appreciate your support!

I do think the Nevada gaming commission requires the operator to run the game square no magnets. I mean the casino already is killing it, so it isn’t in their interest to rig the game. The gaming commission could pull their license, and it’s not worth losing the whole multi property license just to rig the game for a couple of percentage points. Now a small independent operator in a small non chain bar, might choose to juice the machine and try to get away with it.

Multiple gaming staff and techs have confirmed that they are indeed classified as slot machines, and from what I’ve also been told, that slot classification allows for much looser rules when it comes to what is considered “fair” ….virtual reels, pays back percentages that can be set, etc… Another interesting thing I have learned from chatting with the techs is that the casino doesn’t own or run these machines… they are leased by the company that owns them and the casinos get a cut of the revenue. They cant access the main workings of these machines…such as the ball or wheel or physical components that run the game…they can only monitor them or fix ticket jams and such. Putting it all together, I don’t think the casinos have anything to do with it and I think them being classified as slot machines could put them in a “grey” area with regards to what’s allowed when it comes to how they operate…

I have been on that exact machine when it malfunctioned. The ball would not leave the number tray it hit. It wasn't touching the sides or top and button. It was definitely a magnet. No tech came to fix it either. I waited hours because I wanted to see what could be the problem but no one ever came. I asli noticed it land the same way a couple times in this video, in the center off the tray. These games are definitely rigged!!!

Did that happened to be around a few weeks ago… I came in for a session in the morning and saw that the ball appeared to be wedged between the lid and the wheel and was in error mode. I wanted to take a picture or video but they had a bunch of techs and workers around…when the ball hits the pocket and doesn’t move it appears to stick, that seems to be the tell tale sign of a spin that didn’t feel random…

The computer picks a number and those little copper things have an electrical current sent through them. The ball is also magnetized. You can continue playing with an error like "ball replacement needed" or even without a ball at all. I'm just amazed this is some kind of mystery to people.

Thank you for sharing, I think alot of people have doubt, but “ trust” because they are regulated that they must be fair. I have been told what you state many times before, but no one has ever offered up indisputable proof that there is any manipulation. From what I understand these are indeed regulated as slot machines and I know that slot machine “fair” is totally different from how table games are “fair”. I think it’s an interesting topic because many prominent industry gurus claim that they are 100% random without any influence the same as a table game… I’ve noticed some weird ball movement in the past on different machines at various casinos, but lately it’s become so consistent it almost seems “obvious”…

@@EatSleepGambleRepeatin online casinos the suspicion honestly is way way worse, idk if you’ve ever played online rolluette, but like, everytime you get more than 10$ a number, magically the ball starts to miss your number, but here’s the kicker - if you watch, the ball is feather light, and ULTRA magnetized online, I’ll never forget that a few times I was getting really low like 50 cents and watched the rolluette ball ALMOST go into green 00 and “magically” went into green 0 (I always cover the greens tho so I won)

What’s your starting buy-in, how many middle streets do you bet and what’s your profit goal?

@EatSleepGambleRepeat I bet 7, it's max. I start at 50 cents and as I profit move up to a 1.00. Usually aim for $100 and move on. Usually works, not always, but for me it does. I do the middle streets, but trust your gut. Check the numbers that have been dropping.

I had to watch it in SLOW MOTION and it did appear to be an HONEST SPIN ... I would have questioned it as well.

Thank you for analyzing it and relaying your conclusions…did you notice how the ball stuck in the pocket and didn’t roll around the entire time the wheel was spinning and then suddenly seemed to unlock when it came time to fall in the center?

@Variety1985 interesting that you can’t see it , perhaps it’s the video quality, but the ball Doesn’t usually stick inside the pocket and not move around…especially with the speed it hit it with. The centrifugal force from the wheel spinning always pushes the ball toward the outside of the pockets ( unless spinning really slow), how a ball can stay stationary on a spinning wheel without touching any of the sides until it stops is peculiar at best?

No alot of times its not random, i play sides and at the start of your video. It dropped on the same side 8 times in a row. I would be up crazy in this session

It would follow the leader on sides, side meaning from 28 to 1 and the other side is 2 to 27. If you played that that in this session. Following the winner you would be up tremendously. But it seems you keep your bets small. Which i respect but idk if you can actually make money

I’m not sure I exactly understand what you wan with regard to playing sides? I do play follow the leader quite a bit but it usually yields similar results and doesn’t change much…

disagree with putting the money on green. The amount of money you would of made more if that was all on the colors instead of the green and then waiting for 2/38 chance for a green is just too much of a risk and more then likely you will lose every green bet and even if it does hit it probably wont make up all the money you have lost on the green before. But yes its fun to have a jackpot but just not what i like to do.

I have to disagree. I recently played on a similar ETG machine for over 4 hours. I do not bet on every spin and I only bet on columns and dozens and won $460.00. The key for me is not to bet on any single numbers....bet only on 2-1 and 1-1 outside bets. Patience and discipline is the key. I know it is easier for some than others....but if you want to win on a consistent basis that is my key !

They don't need to rig the machines. The odds on any roulette game is in favor of the house. People don't last long because of the terrible odds compared to baccarat or blackjack. Some systems in blackjack will be better to play, but it's always best to leave when you are up and not stay too long on roulette. Dozens of channels here on YT trying multiple strategies, all claiming to be the holy grail. You play it long enough, it will eventually fail and you lose all your profits.
