Are EURO CONVEX MIRRORS Worth It? BMW F80/F82

I understand why some people may be critical of the decision to remove the previous owner's mods. Although I enjoyed those mods, I truly appreciate your unique and personal approach. It's refreshing to see someone not simply follow the crowd. I'm definitely looking forward to your future videos, and I'm excited to see what you have in store for us. The car looks amazing, and I hope to get one for myself someday!

those are cool, but i didn't like the carbon paddles and it seems more difficult to find alternative paddles to work with them because it's a whole different mechanism

What exhaust are you running. Ive got catless downpipes single mid pipe and madmax exhaust all Active Autoworks and it sounds fucking awsome

they have some for the f8x, too but they are several thousands and thankfully not my taste

Do you think having the convex rearview mirror from broadway helps the overall visual perception since you got 2 convex side mirrors too? So all of the mirrors are convex now...vs if your rearview mirror was flat and the side mirrors were convex, the depth perception of a car going from rear ---> sides may feel more weird?...

So the short answer is yes. on first install, the convex part of it has minimal benefit because I just see more of the rear headrests (unless the back seats are folded down then it's better). but what I noticed pretty quickly is that now the 'zoom' levels of my side mirrors and rear view are near identical so i'm able to more easily understand my surroundings when glancing at all the mirrors. i never noticed before how much zoom the stock oem rear view had which made it more difficult, or less quick, to understand how close someone was or if it was 2 cars or in fact one car. it's a bit silly typing it out, but, yes i like it a lot more. i think the rear view alone is a better value than the side view convex but only because so much less expensive.

@@f82regpaq yea that makes sense. I admit the convex broadway mirror threw me off because I couldn’t judge just how close a car was behind me…I guess it just takes getting used to. How long did it take for you to feel natural? Also, how are you setting your side mirrors with the convex side mirrors? Are able to get a panoramic view without blindspots all while being able to see the side of your car?

Car looks great! also If you have auto dimming mirrors that broadway mirror blocks the sensor for them.

honestly I love your unique taste nd I even agree with removing the carbon on the gearbox.. I think it looks hideous.. I guess I'm too use to regular mirrors I don't like the square mirror but it's my opinion, I can't wait to see what you do to this F82.. I'm planning to get a F83 by next year I perferably want White but if they have Black I'll take it. I have all the plans I want to do with the car as well. The Mirror cover is the same thing I want.. I don't really want carbon mirror covers it also looks ugly/stupid nd black is nice but I want it to go with the color of the car

How'd you get the wing and carbon bits off? Look awesome btw! some of us just like a cleaner look, and it's your car. don't know what the keyboard warriors in the comments hope to achieve 😂

haha thank you! and i used a hair dryer to heat up the adhesive and pulled it off. then used goo-gone to get rid of the remaining adhesive. not too bad!

IND is such a rip off. They’re way more pricier than anywhere else. You can get these mirrors for $255 shipped.
