If Fortnite devs are intentionally going out of their way to sabotage this collaboration to actively make it pay to lose, that is petty to a new degree. For a lot of people, this truck will be their first SUV body car in Fortnite, due to the fact its free. To sabotage that and make it actively a issues to play against, like the seats on the back and the weird Nitrofist bug that ONLY happens when you use a Cybertruck... ONTOP OF EPIC DEVS THEMSELVES URGING THE PLAYERBASE TO DESTROY IT ON SIGHT... pathetic. If that was all intentional, then that's pathetic.

I think the exposed back seats are more so because the slot the Cybertruck car body fits into in the Locker is labelled "SUV/ *TRUCK".* Meaning the CyberTRUCK is probably adhering to the Pickup Truck's seating arrangement rather than the SUV's. And I'd like to hope that the Bug is just that, an unintentional issue that somehow occurred. So honestly, all Epic should do is separate SUV and Truck Cosmetics in the Locker and fix that bug. As for the Devs demanding players to shoot it on sight? ...Yeah, I can imagine that if their feelings are as strong as it seems Kyle Wynn's is... I think they may be being a little blinded by rage as it were. Willing to make some "free to play" players suffer simply because the hate the guy this COSMETIC car body represents... Which ironically, could make them just as bad as Elon Musk if he hypothetically bought Fortnite, one of the most successful and popular games out there and shut it down simply to "End the Cringe"

@@raiden4467 The Great thing about opinions is that everybody's free to have there own, but if you don't have a positive opinion about him just keep it to yourself. don't like the cybertruck? don't use it easy, its not worth to complain about it not like there going to remove it. even i'm not a fan of elon musk but i dont complain about it just keep it to yourself it's extremely annoying

i dont know why so many people are just hating on it it is free for example some free winterfest skins are "pay to lose" and dont have conterversy but on the brigth side the cyber truck has a really good hit box in rocket league and also if you dont like the cybertuck then just dont use like its simple

It seems to me like no matter where Elon Musk goes, controversy follows. Then again, Fortnite is no stranger to Controversies and Hate, so I don't see it as too big of a surprise. Personally, I think this whole ordeal is a bit overblown since I tend to separate the "art" from the "artist" (not what Elon Musk or the Cybertruck is, but you get the idea). I may not like Elon Musk or what he's doing, but a free SUV Body is a free SUV Body. And yes, it DOES look absolutely ridiculous, but as I've said before, that's one of the great things about Fortnite for me. It's wacky items, characters, places, or in this case, *a low-poly car body.* (I assume it's in an attempt to look "cool and futuristic" but uuuhhhh, I guess not everyone agrees) 0:44 I've seen some frame the Cybertruck as "Pay to *WIN"* because the back seats have "faster aiming" or something and the fact that it's apparently quiter than other cars? Personally, I'd say that makes it "balanced" then if it also has these "Pay to LOSE" features as well. However, I think it's important to note that the second slot for car cosmetics is called "SUV/ *TRUCK"* meaning, those cosmetics should technically also apply to the Pickup Truck as well as the SUV. I'm therefore guessing then that the CyberTRUCK is following the Pickup Truck's seating format with 2 exposed backseats compared to the SUV's covered ones. Which means the Cybertruck ISN'T doing anything wrong (atleast on that front). The real question is why Epic bundled the SUV and Truck cosmetics together like this since you can effectively turn an SUV into a Pickup Truck. (and vice versa with the Behemoth Car Body with a Pickup Truck) 1:38 Really? I've always thought the Majority of Fortnite Controversies just come from Fortnite... existing. Honestly, I don't know about you but it always felt like Epic couldn't BREATHE without the community suddenly screaming bloody murder. In which case, the majority of controversy comes from Original Fortnite content, or just... content in general. Case in point: *This Season.* 1:50 Short Answer: *The Metaverse + Money* Long Answer: It's kind of hard to have your Epic "Ready Player One" type moments if none of the relevant IPs people care about these days are in the game. Hence why we must have Goku hitting the Griddy on Spiderman's dead body whilst driving away on a Cybertruck and Magneto Power-ing Master Chief. Also, while yes, the most famous and iconic Fortnite skins are original, they're also pretty old. It seems to me like people REFUSE to like any original skins (or content for that matter) until it's aged for like, atleast 2 - 3 years. Basically, Epic can't rely on New Original Skins if they aren't seen as worth buying till they're hyper rare. Sooo, *Collabs to get that instant cash!* 2:50 I think Epic's thinking with collabs is usually just that as long as these companies/ figures/ franchises aren't CURRENTLY under Major Fire from something, then they're good to go. Like, they'd probably a lot more hesitant to collab with Elon Musk if EVERYONE was screaming hate at him. But right now, it seems more like a quiet grumbling amidst the crowd. Not many may like him, (for good reason) but it's also not so obvious to a Corporate Higher Up (Who I bet may have suggested/ approved this collab) that maybe not everyone would be interested in this collab. Overall, I think people are taking this ordeal to a bit of an extreme. All Epic needs to do is separate SUV and Truck Cosmetics in the Locker, and Fortnite Players should just not buy the Car Body when it comes to the Item Shop if they dislike Elon so much. No need to take it out on the in-game cars and players because remember, *this is the first Free SUV car body for many players. **_They probably don't care about this nonsense/ hate him as well._* And in the meantime, I'll be vibing with my PS2 Shaped SUV as well...

There is also a glitch rn where if you drive the cybertruck, it glitches out the nitro fists and the ship in the bottle to where you can't even use them.

I switch between titles, so I was thinking it might have been ‘Why is Tesla running Fortnite?’ or something like that. Then I thought, ‘Has Tesla ruined Fortnite?’ In my head, it might work better but without changing it completely.

okay, a couple of things (even though a couple of people have *already* said these points as well, Imma say 'em too, but hopefully a little bit better, mainly for the peeps that don't wanna those comments cuz tl;dr 😆😆); 1. I personally think it's, at the very least, kinda stupid that the devs want players to shoot & destroy _other_ players if they're driving around a specific type of car cosmetic (which is *FREE* mind'ju) just cuz it's from a guy/corporation who has some sort of controversy surrounding him, ESPECIALLY cuz this will be most players FIRST 👏 EVER 👏 SUV/Truck cosmetic, cuz most Fortnite players either don't play Rocket League *alongside* Fortnite (like myself), _or_ didn't have enough V-Bucks and/or didn't have the want to buy the Behemoth SUV when it was in the item shop a couple weeks or so ago. It also _probably_ doesn't help FortniteTubers/content creators (such as yourself, @Mr Jay Oh Why (sorry btw 😂😂)) keep making videos covering all of this (sorry if point 1 was too long btw... 😅😅😔😔) 2. the reason the Cybertruck has it's backseats on the *bed* of it, rather than the *actual* ones, well, in the back, is cuz, well... IT'S A TRUCK!! And if you go to locker RIGHT 👏 NOW 👏, & go down to Cars, you'll see the section for SUV-type cosmetics is called SUV/*TRUCKS.* 😐😐 Which means a) this is the *first* proper pickup truck cosmetic for the SUV/*TRUCK,* & b) we'll get MOAR pickup trucks as skins *for* the SUV (mainly from RL, obviously), *and* irl truck brands too! (the one *I'm* most hyped for is the Ford F-150 😂😂)
