So I started listening to this Playlist at about 9:17pm and it's now 3:30am. I can see why you are called the singing scientist, your knowledge and ability to get said knowledge across to someone who loves to sing and is a closet singer I have learnt so much from watching your videos. Jazmine Sullivan is actually AMAZING and her voice is so unique it's hard to compare it with Amber Riley. They have different styles, and are experts at different things. HIGHLY recommend watching her tiny desk. Her control is out of this world and her melismas are crazy!

jazmine sullivan released an album in 2021 which won the grammy for best r&b album in 2022! she is unparalleled when it comes to modern r&b vocalists -- i highly recommend reacting to her tiny desk performance

Honestly as someone who watched glee when it aired and loved it (still do) Im kinda bummed by these choices, theres so many songs that were better on glee that wouldve been cool to compare. Aside from like 2 of these I forgot the others even happened they just arent as memorable for me. You should do more cuz this would be cool to see more comparisons of other songs

Jazmine Sullivan is still pretty big in the R&B scene especially with her last album Heaux Tales which won a Grammy Jazmine has honed in more on her talent as her voice did change from when she was a child to Bust Your Windows Now she’s got great control over it and the sickest agility that even Brandy, Mariah and Beyoncé have praised her for her vocal’s especially for having the most creative and seamless yet clear riffs and runs

For context, For Glee's performance of "Roots Before Branches", the reason I liked the version better, was because it was more emotional because she was leaving Lima and Finn, and heading to New York. Also for their performance of "How Will I Know", you literally have a powerhouse of the best singers in the show; Kurt, Rachel, Santana and Mercedes.
