short answer: yes, its almost required for every event. You should get golden crates

Don't Underestimate g pyro, its a support tower and not ment to deal damage by its self, it does fantastic against big groups of zombies + it melts defense too to help with some bosses (still good vid)

my guess on what each of them is good at golden scout: early to mid game defence golden pyro: multi path maps golden minigunner: mid to late game defence golden crook boss: high dps for early to mid game golden cowboy: alternative farm that damages enemies golden soldier: (unsure. but probably being like golden scout but weaker)

Golden pyromancer is probably number 2 golden tower because its one of the best for early game in the harder modes and its defense melting is really useful also it can take on crowds really well so you got lucky but you were using it the wrong way you're supposed to use it in the early game while you farm for expensive towers

Also as a level 320 who doesn't go outside I can def say golden Pyro is my most used golden tower, you're just using it wrong. Golden Pyro isn't meant for dps its meant for early game and crowd control which its one of the best at.

As a level 291, If you wanna complete events easily, get gold pyro or gold soldier, if you wanna speedrun, get gold scout, if you just want some dps, Goldmini, If you want an early defense to replace farm, goldcowboy, If you're a psychopath, Goldcrookboss

For me my favourite golden tower is cowboy as its just so useful it replaces early game towers and farm at the same time leaving 4 spots for towers, golden pyromancer is also amazing considering its defense melting, and amazing pierce its gotta be the 3rd best in my list behind golden minigunner due to its pure dps
