Are hens loud? Do chickens need heat?

A brief tour of the Chickenarium on a frigid Pennsylvania day. Spoiler alert... hens CAN be loud and your neighbors WILL know you have them! Also, you probably DON'T need to supliment heat.

And also they make that noise when they don't have much freedom. Being in small locked place makes them crazier.
